Decided to check out Prince Tea House on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The inside is beautiful and elegant from right when you step inside. There is a tight waiting area that will only hold about 5-6 people. When you walk in instead of announcing yourself to a host, you will put your name and party information into a kiosk upfront. You’ll add your phone number and they’ll call you when a table is ready. This way you’re able to leave and wait outside or in your car.
The wait was about 20-30 minutes. It’s a small place on the inside. When we were finally seated we sat in a large booth in the back. The booth seating was very comfortable. There are mirrors and neon signs everywhere. The atmosphere is quite trendy yet elegant.
The menu is large. There are so many teas to choose from. There’s also mocktails. My friends got the different mocktail. They came in these festive pineapple glasses. They looked really good and got tasty reviews all around. The mocktails had a sprite base. I got the potted plant caramel milk tea. It came in a mug and was decorated to look like a plant. The milk tea was topped with milk foam which was sweet and creamy. Then Oreo crumbles on top and a mint sprig up star as the plant. It was really cute! One of my friends also ordered the tropical oolong tea extra sweet. It came out piping hot in a tea kettle and stayed piping hot the entire time we were there. The tea was fruity and perfect sweet with distinct notes of mango and passion fruit. When I go back I am getting that tea again for sure.
I ordered the waffle with mango and strawberry and condensed milk for my “dressing.” The waffle was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I can’t remember the last time I had such a good waffle. I loved the toppings but next time I’ll pay for the extra whipped cream. It was really good if you like a really sweet and creamy and thick whipped cream. It’s a big waffle too, bigger than it looks on the menu. Fills the whole plate.
I also got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries were great. “Twister” fries or curly fries like Arby’s but better. Seasoned and hot. The chicken tenders were cooked crispy and was not dry. The breading was light and tasty. I would recommend them for the chicken tender connoisseur.
Rave reviews all around from my friends. They tried the salted crispy chicken, the crabmeat salad, the fish sandwich, the apple crumble. I didn’t hear anything complaints and we ate everything!
Food came out very quickly after ordering. I know they want to turn the tables quickly. But everything came out fresh and hot as we ordered. The staff is still a bit new but very helpful.
All in all, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning in the near future. The desserts look so good and I want...
Read moreThis place is sooo cute!! It feels like you’re in bridgerton 🫣 The decor is beautiful and the little details put into every piece, even the plates and spoons, make it so special! Our server was so nice, and we ordered the matcha crepe cake, banana cheesecake, and coconut panna cotta 💖 the banana cheesecake surprised me and ended up being my favorite, and my partner’s favorite too it was delicious! The flavor profile was stacked 😋 we also ordered a fruity green tea (forgot the name but it had white peach and maybe watermelon?) it was sooo fragrant smelled and tasted beautiful, and then English toffee milk tea with 80% sweetness, which was also delicious. They have pot warmers and the cutest little tea cups with spoons 🩵 very elegant and fun experience would come again! One suggestion, please add a vegetarian sandwich!! With vegan meats or something! I was really looking forward to trying a sandwich and was disappointed in not having an option (only egg sandwiches before 4p, which I...
Read morePrince Tea House is a charming tea house offering a wide selection of both fixed price afternoon tea and a la carte drinks, desserts, and brunch items. I am particularly impressed by their elegant and clean dining spaces. As the staff in training come by to take your order, their manager may come by to confirm your order. We came on a Wednesday afternoon with no wait as expected, but won't be able to speak to the weekend as this gem may blow up in popularity in a manner of time. The pu er and oolong teas were smooth and easy drink, perfectly balances out the subtly sweet tart passionfruit cake. I also quite enjoyed the fruit tart and black sesame creme brûlée from the trio dessert tray in my second visit. I absolutely love Prince Tea House as a more affordable alternative to the fixed price afternoon tea at the Peabody Hotel. I will definitely come her for all occasions from girl's high tea, date or family gatherings. Easily one of my favorite venues...
