This was undoubtedly the worst Mexican food that I have ever eaten. Beans clumps of reddish mush that I'm not really certain were frijoles. Almost like them came congealed out of a can. The rice was not authentic Mexican fried rice. Very pale in color and flavorless. And the beef enchiladas had a sauce that tasted like it was some type of out of a package with added chili or mole that was poorly done and and again just bad. Friend got chicken taco salad, which had plenty of chicken, but tasted like boiled chicken with no seasoning. I had eaten here once before and felt the food was poorly done, but wanted to give it a second chance...but no mas. The cooks must be giving the ratings on this site, as I was astounded to see it at a 4.5. Bad food, recommend...
Read moreI love Mexican food! Love it!!! I am a horse trainer, and i travel a lot, and i eat mexican food in every city i go to. I don't review them all, but i do when they are either exceptionally bad, or exceptionally good. This place is great. It's friendly, fast, and has a great atmosphere. I have to start a new paragraph for this. The food is great. Its soooooo fresh. Every single ingredient is cooked and prepared to high consistently high restraunt quality. I mean Michelin star quality consistency. The rice in the burritos are like perfect risotto texture, every grain. It's very authentic, with some trendyness. Not very texmex. If you love real mexican food, fresh food, and/ or can cook, try this place. It is a multi time "best mexican food restaurant in...
Read moreOle Duphus knows the owner of this restaurant. My review will be unbiased. Ate here for the first time and the place was packed. Had to wait awhile to be seated. They were short handed and it was obvious that they were struggling. But we got seated and served. Food was very good. But they really need to get a bit more organized in regards to restaurant logistics. Keeping a proper staff at all times, working as a team, and doing the little (non cooking things) that keep patrons coming back. Good food is great. But if it comes with a struggle, then it’s a concern for the patron. This is a typical challenge for all new restaurants. I know they will work out the...
