A1 Wings & Things — Restaurant in Memphis

Everything here was great. We walked in to order takeout, and someone was upfront waiting to take our order as soon as we stepped in. He was nice and patient, and the place, while a little small, was very clean and nicely laid out for indoor dining. To go menus are at the register for your convenience.

We got the #1 family meal (10 whole wings and 5 tenders) and chose the breaded Cajun wings, lemon pepper wet nonbreaded wings, tenders, fries, and fountain drinks; and for things not in the family meal, we also had fried catfish and crab rangoons. Everything was fresh and really good. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection; the wings were a great size and crispy, but none of the meat was over/undercooked, and none of the sauces or seasonings on either were overpowering.

My only critique is that I, personally, would’ve liked less cream cheese/more krab in my rangoon bc I could barely taste any krab. But I’ll definitely be back this week and, this time, will try to remember to take pics before eating...

A couple of us at work wanted to go somewhere different for lunch. This place was right around the corner, and the menu looked great, so we decided to give it a try. The environment is inviting, relaxing, and clean. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. The employee at the counter was very friendly. They bring your food to you when its ready. I enjoyed the non-server service. I got the Korean BBQ wings, and the girls and I shared some pork pot stickers. The food was great! The fried rice was mushy, the wings were tasteless ( suppose to be lemon pepper and honey hot). They both taste and looked the same. The fries were mushy soggy limp and sessoned without a taste. You could see the seasoning effect but no taste. The oysters were so bad I spit up. This was a waste of money. Had to throw the meal away. Going to have to cook today after all. I...
