CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Menlo Park

The service at Sharon Heights pharmacy in. Menlo Park used to be the best so I drive 20 minutes, but has gone completely downhill:

The drive through is not consistently open so you can’t plan for it The drive through at night has no overhead lighting which makes it hard to see, read signs in window or feel safe The pharmacy workers are clearly highly overworked When you try and call you can no longer get a real person which is completely inefficient. It took 11 calls between us to complete my Rx! 11! And both sides spent way too much time on what should have been simple The que for the non app mobile line was at a standstill tonight while one after another customer was taken from the mobile line even though they had their own cashier. It was ridiculous Hilton is amazing and most of the staff too, but tonight, I was treated with predjudice imo when the pharmacy cashier said I was old as I was unlocking my phone for the QR code, evidently it wasn’t quick enough ~when I called her out on it she simply said she...

I pulled into the drive-thru expecting normal service, and the automated system said, “Hi there, we’ll be with you shortly, please wait.” I waited over five minutes before an employee finally came on the intercom only to tell me, “The drive-thru is closed, you’ll have to come inside.”

There was no sign posted, no notice, and the automated system kept looping false messages telling me someone would be there soon. Extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time. When I mentioned that there was no sign, the employee hung up before I could finish speaking.

If the drive-thru is closed, put up a clear sign or disable the automated voice system so customers aren’t misled. Very disappointing service, especially for a pharmacy where people often rely on quick access when they’re sick or unable...

They all have been incredibly helpful, friendly, responsive, down to earth real people- who try hard to help others. I think pharmacys have it tough- they are super busy- as all healthcare workers are- but I am continually impressed by the friendly safe service I receive here.

I love the drive through! I know it may be hard to staff that on busy days- but it's such a customer satisfier to not have to go in the store.
