My husband and I will never go anywhere but BBK!
We started out with small gifts for our mothers with Alex and Ani bracelets. As we grew to know the staff, we met with Kaila to design my perfect upgrade ring. She NAILED it! God bless her, she took the time to get to know me, my taste and knows exactly what I want in jewelry.
My husband now can walk in and their staff knows exactly what I love (and even takes note of what I notice when I stop in). Kaila has saved me from some impulse buys my husband tried to make that wouldn’t have served me well. That’s family! Not to mention, they actually ask about our family and even know our children’s names (we have 6 kids! I can hardly keep track, haha) and remember their activities.
They don’t work for a commission, but want to make their customers happy for life. BBK is exactly why small businesses are worth their weight in gold.
Did I mention they have a LIFETIME guarantee? I say this because my rings have very dainty diamonds, so naturally some of them have come loose or even fallen out (I work with my hands and play sports, so I am quite hard on my rings). Whenever I have stopped in, they clean my rings, check the setting, and repair the damage I have done). They have fixed loose diamonds and replaced lost diamonds, absolutely free of charge because they stand by their work. I have had rings from other jewelers that are dainty. Those jewelers told me not to wear my rings. When a prong broke or a stone was lost there was no recovery. What jeweler tells a customer not to wear a ring? That’s not the case with BBK.
BBK helped me design an upgrade wedding ring for my husband, get his ring size and perfect his ring without him even knowing. They are THAT good!
I came to BBK for a ridiculous request for a necklace for our vow renewal. As always, Kaila made it happen. She literally designed a special necklace and clasp to create two necklaces that were seamless together and separate. I’m honestly in awe of BBK’s ability to design jewelry, customize wishes, and always keep budgets in mind.
When I wanted a mother’s ring but couldn’t figure out how to combine our 6 children’s birthstones that don’t match, Kaila came to the rescue with a gorgeous unique design that not only matched my style, but I absolutely adore and wear every day. She is so creative and strives to find the perfect solution for every occasion.
BBK is truly the small town, family jeweler with a international inventory. I can stop in to look for something new or just have my rings cleaned and truly feel like I’m just catching up with friends. They treat you like family and it is genuine. They care about their customers and always go above and beyond!
There’s a reason my husband and I keep turning to BBK for not only custom pieces, but also smaller purchases. They know each piece of jewelry is special, big or small. Every customer is treated like family and they truly mean it.
If you want a lifetime jeweler who will not stop until they make you happy and keep you happy, then you need to go to BBK. You...
Read moreNot sure what has happened with this local jeweler, but wow, I am so disappointed. I went there shortly after they opened in their new location and said I wanted a "Becky's mother's ring", a style she apparently designed for her mother. Because I wanted it set with a pearl, I was told they had to produce a design. I was promised said design several times, visited the store 2 additional times to ask about the design, and short story long, they never followed through. Then, to make matters worse...
I took a S/S and pearl ring there to have the 'shank' renovated (add more silver so it doesn't get so misshapen). The first thing the jeweler did was pop off the pearl to examine the ring so they could give me an estimate. A couple weeks later, I picked up the ring. Now, one doesn't wear a pearl ring every day; and this was probably about the 4th time I wore it, and the pearl popped off. Fortunately, I found it on the table I was sitting at. I took it to BBK jewelry, expecting they'd glue it back on for me since I know they took it off. Nope, they wanted $45 to put the pearl back on. I left without getting the ring fixed.
It's such a different environment now. At the old location, and in the before times, my husband got me a beautiful Hearts on Fire ring for my wedding ring. I've stopped in there a few times to buy a gift for a friend. Everyone was very friendly. This is not the BBK I had come to rely on and TBH, I am perplexed at the way I have...
Read moreWhile their customer service is very friendly, and I’m sure their already made jewelry is just fine. I would not recommend their custom made jewelry. The past two Christmas my husband has gotten me custom made jewelry. First my mothers ring and then last year the bear necklace with each child’s birthstone.
My mothers rings lost a gemstone about a year ago. I recently brought it in to have the gemstone replaced. After having it for a couple days they called because the jeweler said most likely when he replaced the amethyst, the two emeralds next to it would break and need to be replaced as well. I may as well purchase an entirely new ring for that cost. It’s kind of ridiculous that the gemstone fell out in the first place. My grandmother had her mothers ring for over 30years and never lost a stone. It was the same desires mine only with more birthstones!
As far as my bear necklace, my husband was already slightly disappointed with the size of the bears and stones based on how much it cost. But again a gemstone has fallen out of it. It is less than a year old! I have plenty of gemstone jewelry that hasn’t had any issues like these...
