Good selection of toys but employees are absolutely lousy. Feels like they hired their children because their work ethic is terrible. I can sort of understand having friends hang out at your workplace because you’re a bored teenager and you’re too good for this job, but to ignore customers entirely until they have to get your attention means your dad needs to fire you and hire a real employee who cares about the company and doing a good job.
A good employee would ask what the customer might be looking for in particular or to ask them for anything if they need any help.
What’s absolutely bizarre is we’ve been to a similar toy shop in Lehi, UT area and it was the same thing; two teenagers hanging out with their friends, ignoring customers and having the worst work ethic I’ve ever seen. I’m guessing there’s a reason why there is such a strong similarity between the two and you can take a wild guess as to why.
If you think you’re doing your kids a favor by hiring them, you’re actually doing them a great disservice by making them think they don’t have to work hard or have good customer service. If the employees are not related then you need to step inside your business and be around more because we’re not coming back. We can buy toys online for a lot less, it should be the service why we come...
Read moreI would have given an five star because the customer service has been excellent and the toy selection fantastic. But today we drive about an hour round trip to buy a gift for our grandson’s birthday. Once we got home we realized the toy was broken. So we had to drive back again so we could exchange the toy (they were sold out of the one we bought so had to settle for a less desirable option). They would have been wise to have given us a discount, even just as small discount, for all the time, expenses and hassle. But they did not. We tried to buy local to support businesses like this. But in this case it will be much more convenient to order on Amazon for future toy purchases. It will be much more convenient and less risk. Amazon gives better customer service in these types of situations and we can...
Read moreWe have been to Toy Town on several occasions and have loved being in that place. They have tons of toys to try--ride-ons, magic sand, imaginative play, train sets, etc. The employees are fun and helpful. They'll play with you or the kids anytime! Try the fudge. The sample is small, but free. The perfect bite without getting too many calories. We went to a couple of their free craft days and the birthday party. They are generous with their customers. Prices are competitive and you could probably find something cheaper and lesser quality elsewhere, but it's the experience, service, and fun you'll find...
