Well the word has finally got out. I consider myself a little bit of a ramen affectionato having spent over 5 years living in Japan, and doing business with Japan for over 20. I've eaten Ramen and shishi restaurants in the heart of Ginza, and I've eaten them stand up style the train station. This place is pretty legit. To be open, I actually make my own ramen at home all the time. And this is one of the few places I would go and have someone else make it for me.

What really caught me was the Tantanmen ramen. this has been one of my long favorites that I only find in Japan. I saw the menu and was quite surprised. It's more of a spicy style (this one is not very spicy), and I don't think many westerners like it. I figured if they do this well, everything else will be good. So I ordered that, and some gyoza. The gyoza came first and exceeded my expectations. The Ramen was full of flavor and texture and goodness. The only downside was I ordered some vegetables to put in the ramen as an extra, and they didn't make it into my order. I had to cancel. I'll give that to a new chef and a new kitchen trying to figure out how to operate best. But since my first time, I've been back twice and generally had the same experience. One time the Ramen wasn't as good, so I told the waitress who sent it back and they fixed me a new one. That's what you expect from good restaurants.

At any rate it's now one of my family's favorite regular stops. Keep it up...

Everyone knows I love a good Ramen place! Checked out a Ramen place while in Meridian recently. It was pretty slow for a Saturday night, but we did got a little later in the evening. I ordered the Vegetable Lover Ramen. The broth had decent flavor, not my favorite broth I’ve had. I’m not sure what Shio broth is but I’m not 100% sure it’s vegetarian friendly. I’m used to Miso broth for vegetarian ramen options. So I was a little skeptical on this broth. Seems odd to not have a vegetarian friendly broth in a vegetarian ramen dish though, so maybe I’m wrong. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the noodles in the ramen dishes were really good. I loved the veggies in my vegetable ramen as well. My sister & her boyfriend ordered the Creamy Chicken Ramen bowls, one with regular noodles & one with rice noodles. They said the rice noodles were good & they couldn’t tell they were any different than the regular noodles. Great option for a gluten friendly ramen dish. We tried the Crab Rangoon’s as well. They were really hot when they brought them to us! VERY fresh & delicious. I would recommend this place. They have a lot of other options for someone who might not like Ramen. I also wanted to mention I love their to go packaging. The noodles are kept separate from the broth. My sisters boyfriend said he actually liked second day Ramen almost better than the first day! Serving sizes are large! Be prepared to...

Ate here for the first time last night and it was so good, super spicy though! I did get the spicy miso ramen though so understandable for sure, I like spicy but the spicy miso is the type of spicy that makes the tip of your tongue and lips burn! Was still really good, I got the spicy miso ramen without the egg, seaweed, and mushrooms and with the pork belly, green onions, and mixed vegetables, I wasn't a huge fan of the pork belly chasu it has alot of fat, it was good but not to my liking, alot of people like it though because the fat adds alot of flavor so understandable as well, my boyfriend got china grand buffet for dinner, one of the things he got was sweet pork or sweet barbecued pork and i added a few pieces of that to my ramen and it was SO SO SO good, if you ever get the spicy miso ramen from this place, and you happen to be heading towards or past or by the china grand buffet on Fairview, stop and get some of the sweet pork and add it to your ramen, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! Also got the boba tea iced, it was alright, I liked the tea but the boba was super chewy and hard in the middle, also kept clogging the straw, the lady that took my order and the lady that handed me my order were both super nice 👍🏼, if you have a to go order they hand you it in recycled boxes, or like instead of throwing the boxes they get the produce in away they use them for to go orders, actually a...

First Time at Ramen House but not going to be the last. Waitress was so very nice and kind and the food came out in a timely manner. We Ordered: 1. Creamy Chicken Ramen Chicken broth, grilled chicken breasts, seasoned egg, kuro mushrooms, green onions, and roasted seaweed. The chicken was so tender and with the broth was delicious. Mom doesn't like egg so I ate the egg and it was a dang perfect egg!! 2. House Special Yakisoba Yakisoba noodles stir-fried with your choice of protein (chicken, pork, beef, or jumbo/baby shrimp) or vegetables with snow peas, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts and onions. A lady sitting at the next table asked us if we had ever had the Yakisoba and we told her no and she recommended it. So I ordered this with. the chicken. Mmmmmmmmm it was very tasty. Loved it. 3. Crab Rangoons Very good ratio of the crab and cream cheese in the filling. The sweet and sour sauce they served with it for dipping was also good. Out of the two dishes I really liked the ramen the best. Just melted in your mouth. We will go again and I recommend.
