January 2025: BoBaPop is still making delicious boba drinks and their croffles are a perfect addition. Tried the Thai Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Latte drinks this time. Both at 30% sweetness and I wouldn't have wanted the latte any sweeter. The strawberry/Nutella croffle and biscoff croffle were both tasty. The waffle texture is perfect. Thanks! BoBaPoP is only about 5 miles from my house and I love bubble tea; so I had to check this place out. My husband and I walked in and we were the only people in the whole place (for about 5 minutes). The vibe is that new fresh feel and I love the wall art. The two ladies on staff were friendly and walked us through the drink menu options....so many combinations of flavors available.

I decided to try one of their signature milk teas, the Yin N Yang, with added black pearl boba. I chose one of the lowest amounts of sweetness at 30% and it was good for my preference, though I could have gone to 50% and still been happy. My husband ordered the Chocolate Oreo Slush with added boba and coffee foam. Both drinks were prepared in a reasonable amount of time and were delicous. The slush was like liquid dessert....yum! There were 5 or 6 other people who came in while we were there; so hopefully the word is starting to spread that you should give BoBaPoP your patronage. If you like milk tea and are up for a flavor adventure, pop into BoBaPoP....they are a great addition to the community. ...
Read moreI will say up front I do not have a lot of experience with boba tea. But getting to try new food/drink/products are one of the reasons I truly love Yelp.
I came here last night with my girlfriend near closing time (sorry for being in so late!) and immediately noticed a few things about the business space -- it was very clean and organized, loved the ice/sugar info on the menu, and loved the fact they seal every drink with (what looks like to me) a custom cup sealer. In all fairness, this might be standard in the industry, but I thought it was very cool/efficient anyway. I really appreciate thoughtful innovations by businesses and you can tell the owner(s) has(have) done their due diligence here.
My gf got the chocolate milk tea without any toppings while I elected for a dealers choice -- the nice young girl at the register recommended Milk Tea and from that I selected the Korean Banana Milk with the egg pudding topping -- which she accurately pointed out didn't actually have tea in it but very tactfully followed up with the fact it also didn't have caffeine and wouldn't keep me up at night (honestly it was a very nice way to point out I wasn't selecting a milk tea without calling me out in front of my gf, so thank you!). The chocolate milk tea had an understated chocolate flavor - reminded me of a low/no sugar cocoa drink. I loved my Korean Banana Milk, it was the perfect blend of creamy/not-too-sweet/banana-y mixture.
I will definitely come back here again since it's right down the street from my parents place. Keep up the great work and...
Read moreI honestly feel like I'm being gaslit. Either I got a bad batch, every 5 star review is paid or a bot, or no one who gave this 5 stars ever had good boba.
I ordered a Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea (Large, 50% ice, 100% sugar, Black Pearl Boba). The first thing I noticed was a lack of visible brown sugar, where other stores would usually add solid, dripping brown sugar at the bottom of the cup. "Ah, I guess they just dissolved it" - was my thought, before my first sip was that of pure syrup. The tea completely lacked any taste, and felt like I was drinking straight milk. The boba was: Smaller than regular Boba Had the texture of misshapen tapioca Clumped together Broke apart in a single chew
It felt simultaneously overcooked and undercooked. I didn't even know such a thing was possible.
As of this moment, my friend has already thrown away their order of Boba (Taro), and I am debating the same. Keep in mind, I am the biggest penny pincher to ever pinch pennies - something would have to be REALLY bad for me to even consider discarding it, and this fits the bill.
tl;dr: the tea tasted artificial and watered down, and the boba's...
