would never go back 👎 wish I could get my money back honestly. I originally wanted a color correction and to add highlights again because I dyed my hair brown with Sally’s box dye in jan of 2024. I also had gotten highlights in 2020. So they told me no because apparently it would make half my hair fall out where my highlights were. Didn’t really make sense because people bleach their hair all the time.. so why couldn’t I bleach mine only twice? But they stood their ground saying it was a bad idea and my hair will fall out. So instead they suggested a color remover which would apparently strip my hair of the brown color. I agreed to try it with what they said and how successful they made it sound. During the process the lady doing my hair stopped and said “I have to go read the directions to make sure I’m doing this right” on top of that she was a little aggressive with brushing my hair every time she brushed it. Almost as if she was annoyed to do it. After she was done with everything she blow drys a tiny little piece in front of my hair to show me what it looks like (which it looks no different as it did when I had walked in, I’ll post pictures) and then after just the tiny piece is dry and the rest of my hair is soaking wet she asks if I’m okay to just leave with wet unbrushed hair. A big hint that she really didn’t want to brush it again. I said no so she said “okay but it won’t be a good blow dry” or something very close to that. After she blow dries most of my hair, she leaves the back pieces curly and looking stupid to where it doesn’t match the rest of my hair, it’s still damp. She goes to brush it aggressively again pulling my hair as she’s brushing so I finally just told her she could leave it and I’ll just brush it with my own brush so then she pulls the cape off and tells me good bye, walked out with damp, unbrushed, and unstyled hair. She also left a lot of conditioner in it as well, I had to go home and shower as it was so greasy from all the conditioner she used to try to untangle the hair that she tangled. Worst of the worst place to go too! DON’T GO HERE!!! Called another salon after this experience and they told me I should be completely fine to bleach my hair and do a color correction. Complete waste of money!

First pic is before I went there, second pic is after. Only difference is one is taken in the light, one is not. And the second picture shows just how bad she blow dried my hair. Never again. I added my natural hair as well in the third picture so you could see what I wanted which is orange.

Update due to “owners” reply: regardless there was no reason for staff to be rude to me or look up instructions on something they should know how to do.. I wasn’t agreeing to be a test subject for a new stylist. They shouldn’t have had me brush my own hair or complained about how my hair is. Aggressively pulling my hair out is never okay to do to a paying client. Nor is asking me to leave with UNBRUSHED soaking wet hair. Leaving conditioner in a clients hair is also totally gross and unprofessional. If you didn’t have the time to take me that day you never should have taken me. You should’ve knew about how long it would’ve taken and planned appropriately. Not taken me in last minute like you did. I only came in for a test strand, not an appointment, you offered to take me right then and there so that was on you guys to make the time and finish.

Next the 4th and final picture is after I got my hair fixed by another salon (an actual good salon) she confirmed it was completely possible to lighten and color correct my hair and informed me your stylists just didn’t know what they were doing or they were to scared to do it. So it’s probably a good thing no one at your salon did my hair. She fixed my hair perfectly and actually treated me with respect. It was entirely possible, your salon just sucks!...

If you don’t get your hair done at Hair Do…your at the wrong salon. First- I am a business owner so I like to watch how other businesses are ran. This salon is top notch! Everytime I am in, the vibe is so awesome! NO drama between the stylists. They all laugh and have fun. It really makes for a welcoming feel for the client. So much that the clients start in on conversations together. It’s so relaxing and feels so nice to go to a place that isn’t cold and quiet. I have never met the owner but I know for a fact that they put time into their stylists! The stylists are always so eager to learn from one another and they always know the top trends. The owner offers a ton of educational courses for the employees. My stylists today were Shelby and Emma. Awesome teamwork! They were so fun and you could tell they just get along so well. I have seen Shelby train many stylists and she is so wonderful at it! Shelby never misses a beat and is so easy to chat with. So educated on everything. Can’t forget Megan the receptionist! each time I check in or out she is on the ball and so sweet. The perfect personality for customer service and first impressions of the salon! I had very high hopes for this place and was really looking forward to coming here. Unfortunately I had a very offputting experience. Anyone who is an empath or highly-sensitive to energies, I am warning you now. I was very drained leaving this place and it left me in an emotional funk and low energy for the rest of the afternoon/night. As soon as I walked in the door I noticed a very anxious and unpleasant energy, overall just very draining. The girl who cut my hair was friendly, but she did brush my hair incorrectly wet(most fragile state) and ripped through it. It seems to me that even a novice hair stylist would know that hair is most fragile and breaks/rips easiest wet and to not brush from the root to the tip, instead starting gently from the end and working your way up. That was unpleasant and cringeworthy.  Also the stylists really have no idea what is written on the website about them. So if you are going in with hopes that they will specialize in a certain thing, dont go by the website because it was very clear that it is not the case.  This is just not the feeling I wish to have after leaving a hair salon and I will not...
