My last visit here which was 2 days ago was absolutely horrible . I placed an order of the veggie egg sandwich & SPECIFICALLY requested on my pick up order I wanted to substitute the bun for a tortilla since there is no option on the app to add on a tortilla ! Once I arrive to pick up my order I had to deal with the rude entitled manager named Kris, is what she said her name was the female with the short blonde hair . She told me a tortilla instead of a bun is not allowed . Are you kidding me ?! So if that was the case why not contact me ahead of time just like on the app it request your phone number so you can be reached incase there’s any questions about your order. !!!? Oh & not to mention I ordered a breakfast burrito with only egg & veggies without any issues with a different girl who was a lot more professional than Kris. But the manager wants to stand there give me a hard time & tell me tortillas aren’t allowed as a substitute and they can’t do anything to fix that even though I stated multiple times I’m avoiding bread . So I finally ask if I can get a tortilla on the side and she said sure only to walk back inside and come back out with my scrambled veggies cold and tossed into a tray WITHOUT a tortilla !!!! She either hates her job or doesn’t like people of color is what comes to mind after seeing how she handled the food I paid full price for . To who is in charge of operating this store I highly suggest replacing her with someone who cares about their job & doesn’t treat customers in such a...
Read moreI want to give this restaurant 5 stars, but I am giving it 3.. I love their breakfast items, and love that they extend breakfast hours until 2:30pm on the weekend or holidays (the app says until 11am, but don't worry it will let you order it on the weekends still). However, I really don't care for their dinner and lunch items. I did have a protein salad that was very good, so I am not at a total loss, but their breakfast is probably the best breakfast you can get to go in the area. I commonly order curbside pickup at this location, but frequently it takes way too long for the food to be brought out, and sometimes is cold or barely warm when it does come out. On one instance they brought out empty cups and told me the order did not say it was curbside so I would have to go fill up the drinks myself, even though the order said exactly what drinks I wanted. That negates the convenience of curbside, and with a sleeping kid in the car we just ended up not getting the drinks at all that day. The people that work here are generally very nice and professional, but in this case they definitely were not. Lately, I will order curbside but just go in and pick up the food so it is not sitting there while I am waiting. I have never had a problem with the food not being ready when the app says it would be ready.
I highly recommend the frittatas, both are very good. For some reason the app does not have a side of eggs (but other sides are there), so you need to call them to get a side of eggs added...
Read moreIt had been a year. Dined with my Brother tonight. Seems I never learn! I tried the soup again - mistakenly. This time - Italian wedding. Sadly .. and somewhat expectedly, the soup presented was an unpalatable bowlfull of gelatinous glop. 3 marble sized meatballs in a congealed, gelatinous mass, consisting of what was once bead pasta, celery, and carrot. Unpalatable, and inexcusable at these prices! If you opt to dine here, I recommend sampling any soup prior to selection (and payment).
There comes a time in every soup's life, that "86ing" is the best option. I experienced such a phenomena this afternoon, and too on a previous visit, with todays disaster, a mulligatawny that had devolved into this weird, thick, gummy mush. I will digress: the chicken salad sandwich paired with it was quite tasty, but for my lunch dollars, I too have many options - from at least 3 similar concepts in this block alone. Neighboring Zupas has by far the best soups overall, but with so so sandwiches and moderate cost. Panera is the best value, with reasonable, but not exceptional fare. Night Watch is the best overall, in terms of taste and value (order the whole sandwich - and it comes with a full size side soup).
Will I go back to Wildflower? Perhaps, but i will remain gunshy with...
