I love love love this store! Even when I don't need to buy anything, I shop and find something I have to have! The employees are always the best! We have purchased the majority of our furniture and our appliances from them because they have such a great selection and their service department is fantastic! We have lived in the Moapa Valley for 17 years and they treat us like we are a home town customer. We have had the same service repair person service our appliances for 17 years! They have to be doing something right to keep their employees that long. I can not say enough about them, they are fabulous! You can not go wrong buying from them! So thankful they have a satalite store now in Mesquite, NV. They too are wonderful. They have fantastic employees as well! 2021 our 16 year old dryer from Blvd. finally needed replaced. It gave out on a long holiday weekend when I had plans and could not get to the store. I found a few dryers that fit the bill, the one I chose apparently was on back order. When checking out it said "out of range". It wouldn't let me go any further. I wasn't sure why. I decided to call when they were open. When I spoke with someone, I found my first choice which was almost identical, but had wifi, which was more expensive. But when I spoke with them on the phone, found out it was actually on sale and less expensive than the one on back order. Thankfully I was able to do everything by phone on a Sunday and my beautiful dryer was delivered Thursday, 15 minutes earlier than the window they called and gave me! They hauled off the old one and connected the new!
If you buy an appliance from Boulevard, get the warranty! First, while it's under the manufacturer warranty, Boulevard is still the one you call! No hassle! We bought a washer from them with an extended warranty. In the last 3 months of the warranty, we had the repair dept. out and the cost to repair was not worth it so they replaced it! We just had to go in and pick one out for the price point ours was. I think we paid $20 more plus the cost of a new warranty! BUY THE WARRANTY! We have used it on the washers and dishwashers a lot due to hard water in Nevada which is hard on these kinds of appliances. If you buy a refrigerator, buy the warranty. We used it due to ice machine issues, and that was filtered water! You will not regret it. Also, I've price matched. Lowes and Home Depot usually are higher on the washers with more features. Plus they seem to have a smaller selection which surprises me. Also based on experience, if you have something that goes out while under MF warranty from them, they give you the MF number to take it up with. In our case we bought an induction cook top. It cracked and the MF was in North Carolina. They ended up just replacing it and sending a new one. Which meant our 5 year warranty we purchased for 150.00 through HD would have to be refunded and we could not buy a new one with them. So now we have a $700 range top and no warranty. Also, the reviews people left for Assurion, their warranty company, were very low. I've not had experience in using them and hope if I do it will be fine. The other thing is, when you get the warranty with Blvd it is automatically on there! No need to register it. When we bought a double oven, we only bought it at HD because we had a credit card with them. Ours went out and we didn't have the cash that second for a purchase of that size and didn't want to open a Blvd. acct. as we try and keep our accounts to a minimum. But I just realized I never registered the oven with the warranty company and now need to find my receipts in order to do so! *Anxiety sets in! * oh how I wish we had bought it...
Read moreI purchased a dishwasher on February 13th 2020. The first week of August the dishwasher broke. It took a month for boulevard to send out a service repairman just to look and see what was actually wrong. After he came and figured out that it was the control panel which I had already told them they had to order the part. It took over 2 months for the part to be delivered. So August September and most of October I was without a dishwasher. The week before Thanksgiving my dishwasher broke again. I called and they scheduled the repair man to come on December 29th. over one month from the time of the second breakdown of the dishwasher they will only send the repairman to come and see what is actually wrong with the dishwasher. I have asked for a replacement. I have asked for them to please come sooner. I do not think that it is good customer service to make someone wait over a month just for them to look at the dishwasher and not actually fix the dishwasher. The second time it broke I again asked for a replacement and again I was told sorry not an option. Like I said I purchased this dishwasher February 13th. So out of the 10 months that I have owned this dishwasher 5 months of it has been broken. In approximately 2 months my warranty will be up what happens then. I have never been so disappointed in an appliance that I have purchased. This is the first time I have ever bought an appliance from boulevard home furnishing and it definitely is the last time I will purchase anything from boulevard home furnishing. Their customer service is well below any customers expectations. 12/28/2020
Update in the horrible customer service . I received a phone call this morning confirming my appointment for the service repairman to come tomorrow. Over a month after my appliance has been broken the second time and was notified that if the problem was not something thing covered under my warranty that I would have to pay $160 for the service call.
This dishwasher has been literally broken for five months of the ten months I have owned and four and half of those months are beacuae they have not come in a timely manner to help the customer who purchased their product. The dishwasher has been broken now for over a month I have been scheduled for over aonth to have someone come to look and see what is wrong the dishwasher drain has been running constantly and now my power bill has gone up and you have the audacity to tell me I will have to pay more money for your lemon of an appliance and deplorable customer service.
Never again will you get $1 of money from...
Read moreWe moved to Mesquite in May 2023 and many of our purchases for our home were from BlvdHome in Mesquite. Everything is fine unless you have an issue with a product you purchased. Customer service is not exactly the best. We've been going back and forth with the store for 2+ months trying to have the king size mattress replaced. It was purchased the first week in May 2023 when we first arrived in Mesquite. That's less than 2 years and the mattress is horrible. My wife and I are both sleeping and nearly rolling out every night as the mattress is much like sleeping on the side of a pitcher's mound with a hump in the middle. When we first reported this we were told it was probably because we sit on the edge of the bed too much and caused the dips on both sides. We sleep in the bed, not use it as a couch. After more than one phone call we were able to get them to send out a technician to inspect the mattress. The technician used a level to see that indeed it was uneven on both sides and he would report back that it could be replaced. When we called to follow up to find out why we weren't hearing from anyone, we were told that the uneven parts of the mattress were not significant enough yet to qualify for replacement. We should wait a while longer and see if it got any worse. When was last called them to see what they were going to do about the defective mattress, they asked us for the information off the tag that was located on the mattress. We removed the sheets and looked all over for the tag and there wasn't any on the mattress except for the tag that listed BlvdHome's logo and 'Hometown Collection' on the tag. They told us since we removed the tag (we never removed anything, it was all installed by their employees), the warranty is invalid. Sorry about your luck, good-bye.
If you do decide to gamble and purchase from this store, be wary of anything that installers to when they deliver to your home. Being made to feel like we were scamming the store or did something to void any warranty is ridiculous.
I get it, there are people in the world who try to game the system for their advantage. But assuming all your customers are suspect, when they actually just want a quality product is sad.
I'd never purchase anything from this company again. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. If everything you purchase works great, it's a fun experience (those are the good reviews). If there is a problem with anything you purchased (you're screwed). They're not going...
