Mostly 50+ players COST: DI $5; City memberships available good at any Mesquite Rec Ctr. Mesquite Res: $25Yr, NR$50 Yr. PROS: Cost is very low can play at other Mesquite Facilities with same card. DI $5. Not too crowded. CONS: No advance players mostly intermediate. Only 6 hours Pickleball per week here. NOTES ABOUT THIS VISIT: My second visit. Max was 17 players on 3 courts. For a City run, neighborhood recreation center it can't be beat. We had been going to the gym for a few years till COVID but decided to come back as Senior Citizens. Made getting old a benefit. Free membership, programs, free lunch if we want. All the staff is awesome. The facility is well kept. Gym has everything we need. Close to home. We love it!

I’m giving this recreation, 0 stars. April 8 Evans rec had a Easter egg invite which by far was the worst event I have ever been to for kids. They ran out of food or any supplies for kids todo krafts. The lines where extremely long, for face panting ballon’s and even the train the line. To take pictures with the bunny was out the door. They had one person doing face painting and one person doing ballon hats and one train driver with over 600 kids plus. And to top it of wau no parking we had to walk a mile just to get to the rec. This was a kid event my kids did not enjoy this it was a waste of time and I will never support anything like this again. It was not organized. On top of the unorganized Easter egg hunt they used plastic eggs which most kids step on filled with useless toys filled inside the staff was rude to the parents and kids. They advertised a bounce house outside games and it was none of those options Available. They advised kids would do the hunt by age group and that did happen. Like I said by far...
