Threading: This was my 2nd time for eyebrow threading service. I was eager to find a new esthetician and will like a a regular for eyebrows. ($8 with 5 dollar tip).

The positive experiences led me to try them out for waxing. This is when my intuition (to ask to see license) should have been heeded.

Brazillian (55 with 18%). Very disappointed in the process and technique. Had I never had a Brazilian wax, it would have made me severely reluctant to try again. I tipped the customary 18% because I thought it was a thorough job...but it wasn't. I do not "punish" twice, had I caught it and alert them to my displeasure, and if they addressed my concerns in a fair way, I would not be so candid in my review.

What was wrong: An small area of about 6 hairs remained - subpar

large area of wax applied in random directions for just shy of 1/4 hair - unacceptable.

DID NOT HOLD SKIN TAUT (until I held it on the 4th strip). At this point, I knew that this person likely did not go through any formal training (I am not from TX so maybe it's not required).

Skin was very raw in areas of wide application....post-wac exfoliatiatiin was simply impossible (even after day 3).

Soo this was my go to place for lashes til about 2 weeks ago. I go in for individual lashes which were done by Natalie, she wasn’t friendly at all 🙄 nor did she make sure my lashes were right. When she finished I looked in the mirror & showed her sons of the lashes hanging & she acted as if she didn’t want to fix it. I left & my eye begin watering BAD and hurting so I called them to let them know what happened. I went back & Tony tried to fix it (btw I loved him) but the damage was already done. They kept throwing pink eye at me & I know that wasn’t the case b/c this didn’t occur til AFTER she did my lashes!!!! Anyways, I called asking about a refund b/c I didn’t even wear my lashes a FULL day. They told me they didn’t do refunds, but would do an in store credit. Soo I go back the 4th of July & I was basically talked about as if I didn’t hear them about me paying MY MONEY for something that wasn’t done right. Idc if Natalie was there she messed me up....needless to say even after going back I still didn’t get my lashes done!!!! That’s $25 down the drain b/c they don’t do refunds. So it was my first time trying it out right... I went to the mesquite location since it was a last minute thing I had to do, I honestly wouldn’t recommend the Brazilian wax to anyone! After so many years of doing brazilian waxes, I came across this bad experience. It was very painful and used to many strips over and over in the same spot!! The brand of the wax and strips are very cheap!! I kept telling her the wax was very hot and she still put it on me making my skin irritated! Just by thinking about it, hurts! Now I’m left with very sensitive skin and waiting for it to heal😣 I usually can tolerate the pain and the process from beginning to end but not this time!! It will definitely be my first and last time there. I was in the room for about 40 min!! When usually I go in and out longest time I usually would take is 15-20 min. She definitely needs more experience in this just an honest opinion. Not even worth...
