KFC — Restaurant in Mesquite

Ok the managers and or owners of this KFC of Galloway in Mesquite are gonna hate me BUT I have to say this... "WHAT THE FORK IS WRONG WITH YOU???" I came to this location on 7/7/2022 around 3:12pm and I'm met with a human size box fan. No, it wasn't there to dry the freshly mopped floor... It was there in attempt to cool down the place. Was it working? Yeah, in a manner of speaking... It was blowing HOT AIR! I asked young lady whom looked like a high schooler/ no hate there. Me: "why the fan?" Her: "AC is broke." Me: "WHAAAAAAATTT??? and they make you work in this???" She nodded yes and attempted to muster up a smile. I said: "Sounds like a phone call to the better business bureau is in order." @KFC, WHAT THE FORK???? My husband works in a jail in Dallas... Relevance? EVEN PRISONERS GET HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING! Making kids work in a sweat shop. You abuse your employees! Not hating on the chicken nor the customer service. The teenage (probably under paid/ minimum wage) sweet lady did great assembling the food and the cooks worked their magic with the radical chicken. 🍗😋🤘 BTW How hot is it today in TX? My thermostat read °107!!! You can only imagine how hot it is in that establishment. Especially since they have ovens, stoves and fryers running. TLDR: Chicken was good, Customer service is excellent, Treatment of employees: FAIL!!! BAD FORM! BAD TOXIC MANAGERS & OWNERS! UPDATE 8/3/2023: STILL NO AC FOR THE WORKERS!! The owner and managers of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves! This is no way to treat wonderful staff who slave over hot stoves and fryers cooking for the general public. The food of course is still quite tasty and delicious despite being run by cruel heartless monsters forcing their sweet staff to work without proper AC! 109° On my second visit and STILL, not a proper working AC...

We hadn't dined or ordered out from KFC on over 3 years bc we had a couple of bad experiences, stale, dried out food. So with all the commercials for the 2 piece meal for $6.99 during Football season, had a hankering for trying some KFC. I was in the neighborhood so I thought I would go in and pick up something for me and my wife, figured it'd be fresh if we bought it right from the counter. Turns out the two piece for 699 is only dark meat and you have to pay extra for white meat. Okay that is reasonable I guess. Ordered two meals Plus three tenders for 4.99. The young lady that waited on me was very nice and professional. I checked my meals and was very disappointed with the French Fries and Tenders. I asked for mash potatoes and replaced the tenders. I don't know if it is because they prepare so much in advance, all the food quality is as if it has been sitting in a warmer, food was slightly stale. KFC is very pricey for fast food chicken and one expects fresh, hot food. Other Chicken establishments such as Popeyes or Golden Chicken are always steaming hot and fresh. Absolutely the most poorly ran KFC I have ever visited,seen ate at or from in my life. I'm serious people. I went in ordered ,which was a task itself,food was wrong . Waited too be re prepared. Took it home missing food and food was still wrong ,my nephew took his back ,yes you guessed it ,still wrong. Obviously their communication skills with American people are limited. Cause I went back today ordered some exact plain chicken sandwiche . Yes it was wrong. How can this happen so often and not be corrected? I live within a mile am a huge KFC fan,but will go too captain d even if I don't want it,just because the inability too communicate too the employees too get just one order right.
