Absolutely the worst location by far. If I could rate this location 0 stars I would— primarily for “management”. Quality check is lacking by a landslide. Heaven forbid if you have an actual food allergy and select to subtract those items or make substitutions.
The sad thing is that the one time I showed up during one evening and they had only 3 people working the inside and a non moving line in the drive thru. They ended up shutting down the lobby after I had entered because they were so short handed but~ the order was perfect (even after picking up an order: of which took almost an hour and a half to receive). Everything was hot, correct, and their attitudes were polite the entire time and their attention to detail was spot on.
Today was an absolute nightmare. I placed, yet again, another online order and went through the drive thru and the order, for the second time in a row, was incorrect. Their AI on the speaker board does most of the work collecting the data and even with 0 cars in the drive thru— the order was incorrect.
Keep in mind, if you place an order using their app— they offer 0 refunds for missing or incorrect items— which is bad practice.
I ordered all but 2 items off their veggies menu (marked clearly with a ‘V’) the items were selected correctly and charged correctly but were made wrong and included meat. I don’t know anyone who likes dissecting their items or taking a bite off of something just to find out it was super wrong. Vegetarian isn’t a new thing and one would think this would be an easy thing to notice and fulfill.
After calling, yet again, frustrated I request a manager and I’m told 0 refunds for the mishap. I’m asked to come back up and pick up the corrected items. This was after waiting for them to find the order— of which she had told me was unable to be found and therefore I didn’t place an order— she was able to find it after some time.
After I return back to this location: I’m greeted by a young guy (yes, this was the only pleasant interaction that I had). I stated the nature for my return and he went to find out, I guess, where the items were. After the window opened the second time— I would say that I was greeted by the manager but I wasn’t greeted at all. This has got to be THE absolute RUDEST and most ignorant manager I have yet to encounter. Sydney pops open the window and without a word sticks the printed receipt (highlighted) out of the window and the only thing she tells me is “you see here? You ordered incorrectly… but I’ll give you those items.” I was beyond irritated with her as you can imagine. My response was that if she looks at the receipt again… it says black bean… this is from their veggie menu. If she knows her menu or how to read the receipt properly… she would know this.
If this location wants to flourish— my suggestion is to retrain your staff to pay attention to details, especially when dealing with food prep and get rid of the disrespectful and ignorant management.
This is bad practice and you will lose your customer base. Just saying…
For the rude management. Please refer to your menu as seen below in the attachments.
The items in question were as labeled “BB Chalupa Sepreme” ie: Black Bean...
Read moreHey Taco Bell, mesquite... i just want you to see something that is a horrible treatment of customers. I've never seen a store force their customers more than y'all!
So I get we all going into a digital world. And I get computers make things faster... but I'm only 40, i can do it, and whatever, i just want my food and to sit and enjoy....
But making it a standard and forcing anyone who comes into your "fast food" place to use the kiosks seems to be a bit absurd.
Examples from my latest visit ... Friday, June 14 2024. I'm sitting happy in the corner eating my food with my earbuds in. 3x, there's so much drama and yelling in that 45-minute block. I had to take them out to get the full story...
#1) A sweet older couple comes in. Maybe in their 80s early 90s. They waited at the front, and then after a good couple of minutes, a team member said, "You got to put your order through the kiosk. Couple: Our order is simple, and that's hard for us with our vision. Employee: "Well, hate to tell you that's how you got to order" ... they left.
Then enters story#2 (same visit!!!!) Hard-working construction dressed guy comes in. He goes straight to the counter .. another employee comes up and says to use the kiosks. Man: I just need a drink, and I'm paying cash. Can't you just ring me up here? Employee: no sorry kiosks only. The next few minutes were him trying to order with her showing him how to order and him repeatedly saying yes I know how to use them... it would have been faster. ** Back to the register Her clicking things in their system for over 30 seconds Employee: Okay, your totally will be xx.xx Him: *grabs cup and walks off only to find they are out of baja blast. He threw the empty cup and walked off. (Just fyi in the kiosk, he specified a baja blast... )
Story 3 (yes, still same visit) While 2nd interaction was in middle progress. An older grandfather and his super adorable 6 year old grandfather came in. They walked up to the counter.... same employee said #Kiosk, Over there# Thankful the granddaughter could help him navigate it and get most of their order They walked out and right back in after getting their order. His tacos were missing. They pulled up the receipt, and with all the excitement, they never punched in grandfather's order.
In all 3 experiences, 1 employee stands at the front and watches all this. Getting paid to watch... why can't you have that same employee help those who you made their day harder?. I can do the kiosks it's better for me with my orders... but man, have...
Read moreThe standard of service use to be dependable, expedient, and friendly. Now it’s steadily heading downhill. First it started with some of the longest drive thru wait times for a single car line (meaning, I was the only customer The longest I experienced was 9 mins from placing the order to actually driving away with the food. This improved to around 3 mins of the whole experience. However 1. Fail to ask customer if customer would like any Taco Bell hot sause or simply include some 2. Detached, careless, self-involved drive thru attendant 3. Broken hard shell taco shells are becoming the new norm at this location. And 4) I am in the driv thru , I pull up and the employee welcomes me to Taco Bell, tells me to order when rresdy at 10:38 P.M, Thursday, 12-11-18 . 😀Two seconds later the employee comes back on and says, “Sorry sir. We are all out of everything. We are temporarily closed.” In a disbelief, I asked him if he just said “ALL OUT OF EVERYTHING”, and he confirms. I drive up to the window and I cannot see a single employee. Fearing something might be wrong and they might need my help, I drive away double back in my car and try to see if there is any movement. Good news is they were there and okay, Bad News Turns out they were laughing and having a joke back in the kitchen whilst drinking fountain drinks. They are scheduled til 2 A.M and they are already “all out of everything” and goofing off. I left and proceeded to another Taco Bell across town. The second Taco Bell had everything and only one...
