So we read all these amazing reviews and we're really excited to try it. They were right about the service they were very friendly and the place is very drab or one or two tables in there and that's about it. They walk up window and not a place you would dine at. I'm not hating on them I just telling you what to expect. So let's get to the food, we read a lot of good reviews about pizzas and Italian food. We tried the Works pizza and ordered thin crust, extra pepperoni and to go light on the bell peppers and onions. It was a good pizza, they're thin crust isn't really thin more of a regular crust. I guess I'm glad I asked for light bell peppers and onions because the pizza still had them all over. I didn't notice any extra pepperoni but since it's the first time I've ever been there maybe they don't give you much LOL. We were very happy with it but it wasn't absolutely the best or anything special. We have been searching for deep dish pizzas which led us to this place but they didn't have them either so we will continue to look. We might try some of the Italian dishes but I'm just going to put this out there, when we go to nine at a Italian restaurant we also go for the atmosphere, experience and the mood. Places like prego's on Greenville Avenue or Carrabba's are more what we consider totally five star and worth every penny.. here you're getting more of a fast...
Read moreI recently visited Vamos Pizza, and let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience! Their pizza is nothing short of amazing. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy with just the right amount of chew. Each bite was a delight, with the savory tomato sauce and melted cheese blending together beautifully. You can really taste the quality of their fresh ingredients.
But the real surprise was their pasta—wow! If you’re a fan of authentic Italian pasta, this is the place to be. The pasta dishes are cooked to a perfect al dente, with rich, flavorful sauces that elevate every dish. I tried their creamy Alfredo, which was velvety smooth without feeling overly heavy, and the chicken and shrimp carbonara was packed with hearty, meaty goodness. It’s clear that Vamos Pizza takes as much pride in their pasta as they do in their pizzas.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Whether you’re in the mood for a delicious pizza or some comforting pasta, Vamos Pizza has you covered. Highly...
Read moreAs a Chicago resident now living in Mesquite 20+ years i always felt like I lived in a pizza dessert. It's hard to find anything like home. I recently purchased from Vamos and couldn't be happier! I bought a Vamos salad and 2 slices of the hot honey. Both were excellent! I found their ingredients better than all the others in the area. The problem with all the pizza places in the area is that they buy from the same distributor. They buy all the same product. You get the same pizza. But these guys I can tell they put their own spin on things and the outcome is excellent. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. The address of Vamos used to be a place where a guy made Chicago style pizza there long ago in the late 80s and it was my go to. They moved somewhere, I forget where but maybe some Chicago mojo was left behind. Anyone can make a pizza but to make a pizza really well......that's special. These guys are the best in the area. And Happy I found them. Best of...
