Let me 1st say, all employees have smiling faces, greet you in a friendly matter. Manager told us what the plan was and how much it was going to cost. Another young lady helped us with the activation process,ok..in 2 weeks I got 2 different notifications of what my next bill was going to be..almost $500 ,I go to the store, I was told by manager not to pay any attention to those, that they should not even send those out. Ok, so I ask them to tell me what my bill was going to be so I'd know what expect..they tell me, and it's $45 more than what I was quoted when setting up the account. So I get my bill in the mail..$401..go up there and they tell me I have to pay that because of charges they charge in the beginning..WHY CANT THESE PEOPLE BE TRUTHFUL IN THE BEGINNING AND TELL YOU WHAT TO EXPECT.? And the amounts the manager told me for the cost of the phones are totally wrong also..1 was quoted for $5 a month and the other for $1 a month both for 36 months, well the $5 one is now $7.78 and the $1 one is now $5.78 a month. It's not like they don't do that everyday. Very dissatisfied with the untruthfulness and the misleading info they put out there. I'm not looking forward to my next month bill in fear that it will yet be a higher bill than quoted. I will give updates in the future on billing. I do like being able to go in the store to...
Read moreI Had purchased a new IPad 10th generation from your Mexia store a few days ago. I put a screen protector on myself and botched the job. I went back to the store today and asked the working employee to both enter my AARP card into my account so I could get the discount, and also to put a new screen protector on my device. The store doesn’t sell the screen protector, but the young man told me that if I purchased a new one that he would put it on for me. I went to the local Walmart and bought a new one.. I brought it back to him and he did indeed install it for me. The young man’s name was Marquez. I want you to know that he was very kind and didn’t mind taking care of my needs. There are so many young people today who act as though your putting them out or bothering them if you ask for their help, especially if your older and not a tech wiz such as myself. Marquez is not like that at all. He had already helped another older gentleman ahead of me, and two more came in as I was about to leave. This young gentleman is a credit and very big asset to AT&T and the Mexia Texas store. He deserves all the Kudo’s that can be bestowed upon him. Thank...
Read moreThis visit to an AT&T store is without a doubt the absolute worst experience we have ever encountered! My wife and I had just changed our telephone service which included two new ipads and two new iphones. When we changed to the new plan we were advised by AT&T that transferring the data (photos, contacts, etc.) from our existing devices was no problem at any of their store locations.
With that in mind we called the AT&T store in Mexia, Texas. The representative advised that they could take care of the transfer and setup, just come in. We traveled almost 40 miles, one way. We went into the store and explained what we needed, the young lady advised that she could not transfer the data because her WI-FI would not let her do that.
We have been customers of AT&T (Bell telephone and other names) for more than fifty years and never had this kind of POOR service. Therefore if you need AT&T customer DON'T go to MEXIA. If no stars was an option I would have...
