Me and my family not will be doing business with Mr. Clancy and his company any further. We purchased a lift chair for my dad, and had issues with the controller. He replaced the controller, but we continued to have on going issues. So, we exchanged the chair for a new one however after receiving it we realized that we were over charged. After calling to resolve the issue, Mr. Clancy immediately became combative and defensive and not allowing me to speak and raised his voice stating he was sick and tired of going back and forth regarding this situation and he won't ever want to do business with my family again. I advised him that his tone and words were unprofessional and that I had done nothing but be respectful the entire conversation nor did I raise my voice. He half apologized and proceeded to yell at me then hung up in my face. I definitely don't appreciate being spoken to in this way nor do I appreciate the tone and demeaning words he spoke. He states he sold the chair 400 less than market, but in actuality an employee accidently marked the chair on sale for 3100,but he sold it to us for 3500. We are unable to control company mistakes. It's up to the company to adhere to the pricing regardless of a mistake. The issue was never your efforts to come fix the remote it was your blatant disrespectful words and hanging up in my face for absolutely no reason when questioned about the price difference. Over the course of the last several years, I have purchased many pieces of furniture from this business. My latest purchase this week, was four twin-bed mattresses. I drive in and do my shopping all the way from Centerville because the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable, and I appreciate their kindness so much.
