versus @walmart 🤮 this HEB was very helpful. I have a * Disability and it makes it difficult to shop for the things that I need. there were associates around but all busy in their jobs ... Please HEB, have associates walk around to see which customers need assistance. when I got to the register ... there was a lady with her 2 kids ... her boy was helping me put my items on the belt, very sweet. the cashier and the bagger were very kind and helpful as well ... they asked, "do you need help with your groceries to your vehicle ?" of course I responded by stating, "I have my husband in the car" ... ( which by the way, he should have helped me, but that's a different story ... LOL! ) ... again I say, Please HEB have your associates walk around to see what customers need assistance because a little few kind words can and will make somebody's day ... Thank You ❤️

Went to exchange a $7 “fresh” seafood that I discovered was expiring on the day I bought it (went to eat it 2 days later). Live 25 minutes away so it was an hour drive. The MOD exchanged it hesitatingly bc I didn’t have the receipt. It was still sealed and unopened. Suzana up front was argumentative and very unprofessional. Said “best by date doesn’t mean expired”. Asked for the GMs name and they were hesitant to tell me. Said to “call corporate”. Finally got Rafael’s name out of them. Will he calling tomorrow. Suzana needs to be working in the back or stocking at midnight and nowhere near humans, requiring interaction.

All of that ordeal over a $7 expired (“best by”, my bad) exchange. Instead of a “sorry about that we fix that”. Really wish I would have recorded that interaction.

My $400/mth is going to Brookshires...

Clean, organized, great variety of produce; fruit and vegetables are alway fresh; deli has excellent selection of meats with courteous staff willing to helps with your request. I am extremely impressed with the large variety of cakes, pie and muffins in the bakery; plus they have individual slices which is great since I love sweets, but not medically allowed to consume a lot. There is a large selection of fresh meat and poultry. They have a very HELPFUL PHARMACIST and great pharmacy staff. Overall the store is excellent. I would highly recommend shopping there. If you ever have a problem you can alway get assistance from there AWESOME MANAGER SHE’s amazing. I say all of this very honestly because I HATE shopping with a passion and this does include...
