Role's Tire Shop — Local services in Mexia

Having been born and raised in Limestone County, and having lived almost 20 years in the Houston area as well, I’ve seen the best, worst and everything in between as far as automotive “_”. I also started my sales career in the car business in Clear Lake, and that swung the door wide open to getting a good look at the way the car business works, from sales to service and parts. Role’s shop is a diamond in the rough, to be quite frank. Their prices are outstanding, but you and I both know that’s just a tiny part of what makes a shop stand out. In this business, “cheap” comes a dime a dozen. Whereas, cheap AND good…seldom, if ever, are found together. This place is one of the few that offer such a rarity. Stop by here, pretty much anytime it’s daylight, and they’re gonna help you out - if they can’t help you, for whatever reason; they’ll point you in the right direction. It’s my understanding, Role’s is the father and original owner of the shop. His son has taken up most of the day to day business, or so it seems & I have no doubt, his dad’s pleased & proud with the way things are handled these days. It’s the first place I send anyone that needs a tire fixed, replaced or just a opinion on something to do with that sort of thing. Heads up - run by the ATM before stopping by - last time i was there he was still a cash only establishment. Which, the way fraud has become so prevalent and widespread, I cannot say i blame them one bit. Tell ‘em I sent you - and please, folks, tip the fella that fixes you up and gets you on your way. Everyone appreciates the thoughtful gesture. It’s hot and hard work - you’re up there because you don’t wanna get sweaty and dirty…so throw them an extra $10 or $20. His prices...

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE **I wouldn’t even give them one star but I had to in order to put this review up. Not only did we buy two tires from them and sit at their shop while their worker striped one of our lug nuts we had to sit for a good 45 min while they looked for another one. And never did get one they said they would order it and it would be a few days. So we leave there one lugnut short but then they call us back and tell us they have one we go back and it doesn’t fit. Me and my husband get on the highway and one of the tires blows out and we call them and they say they will sell us another one half price. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ???! And obviously their own employees put reviews on here so I wouldn’t trust that. And I will be placing a ad with the local paper about their...

Bought a brand new set of tires from him they weren't the most expensive but I think for what he's told me they were actually the cheapest brand around he didn't know how to balance some right to have to have a balance in Wortham that was just leaving the shop what she said one of the balances could have came off at the gas station on each of the calculations on all the four tires he was off once I got it done and Wortham my car runs ran smooth again and I just replace four tires so it amazed me as to why my car wasn't running right had a friend that bought a set of tires from him and not even four months later one of them just had a just separated on the tire so I won't be going on to his tire...
