Yesterday 03/18/2022 around 8:40 pm I went to the store at 5500 NW 167 St looking for a trencher to rent. They didn’t have it available but as talking to the assistant manager Joanny; she understood immediately the urgency and the importance for our company of renting the equipment that same night. She went above and beyond and found us one in another Home Depot (950 SE 12St). She talked to the assistant manager Jose and asked him to make sure they actually have the equipment, to go and physically look at the equipment. Advised him I was going right away to that store to rent it. I have the best words available for Joanny; but unfortunately can’t say the same for Jose. First he was no where to be found, the employees keep telling me tools rental was closed for the night. It took 4 employees to look for Jose, who finally sent a message saying he was coming. It took him 1 hour to come to the tool rental desk where we were waiting, even his own employees were ashamed for the long waiting. When he arrived we were by the door of the rental spot and that person passed by without saying a word, not even good night, not even I’m sorry to keep you waiting for so long NOTHING. I had to ask him “good evening, are you Jose? He entered the tool place, more like strolling searching for the key of the equipment to take us out and say at that time the machine doesn’t turn on. Unbelievable!!!! How this person is managing?! Mr Jose doesn’t have manners, he doesn’t know what is customer service. I think this was his way of punishment to us for taking him away of whatever he was doing and also because he was on the spot with the other assistant manager for closing the tool rental area before he was supposed to. If he would had came out quick to tell us the equipment was malfunctioning we would have time to go to another rental. Luckily we found the equipment early today. I even doubt if the equipment was actually malfunctioning or if he did something just because. Here is the equipment in question. Jose should be ashamed of his behavior, he doesn’t deserve to be managing anything. The store at 950 NW was the reflection of him, short staff, poor customer service and not complying with...
Read moreThe absolute worst experience at a Home Depot EVER!!! I own a home and my family and I rent out properties so we do a lot of shopping at Home Depot. Service is usually not the best but it's tolerable. Everyone was nice today, which I do appreciate, but what's the point of that if you can't get any assistance?!? Went in today to exchange a door. As a favor we actually returned the one we had to it's place, lifted it and everything. Then we asked for help to bring the one we needed down, because it was on a top level that we couldn't reach by any means. We spoke to at least 7 different associates and waited AN HOUR to get the door. Had it not been that we needed to spend the credit there we would have left after 15 minutes. It's absurd! It's unacceptable!!!! Eventually I walked all the way back to the returns counter where a woman was kind enough to walk out with me, find Anthony, a supervisor who then FINALLY assisted us in bringing the door down but he said "anybody with an apron could've helped you bring that door down". No one helped. They made it seem like it had to be one particular person that had to help us and just kept us waiting. In the rush of trying to leave because we had our handyman waiting to install the door, we accidentally left a phone at the counter (we thought it was left in the car) which thankfully they were kind enough to hold, but once we realized it was left there, I called, was on hold 10 minutes, then some hung up on me and se one time was also waiting 10 minutes before I was able to speak to anyone.
We still have some credit from them which hopefully we'll be able to use online, or we'll be trying a different location, but I hope I never have to return to this location. I'd like to thank Anthony and woman who assisted us from the returns counter, and I do appreciate that they returned our phone and everyone was very nice but this was just unacceptable and Home Depot needs to step their game up. If you have the need to go here, expect to have to waste a lot...
Read moreI came to Home Depot tonight because I had a project tonight. 18 min to 11pm there was an announcement made that the store will be closing. I’m running to get the things I need. I run into a problem I couldn’t fine the concrete anchors so I ask a guy on a lift. He came down off the lift to assist me. We were going around and around finely we find the item. I make it up front at 11 and the lights are already off and the cashier is not there im standing there looking around like what’s going on. So Finley the young lady walks in my direction. I’m think she gonna say something when I notice she wasn’t coming to help I asked her where to go. She didn’t even stop to look at me or even acknowledge me. She just walked by and said we close and walked out the door or where ever she went. Now I’m standing here again like this is crazy. So I asked someone else. This gentlemen tried his best we both waited for ten min. He called the mgr on duty he came 8 min later just to tell me that yeah it’s nothing we can do is close. I replied that you close the store with me in it. And I was up here at 11pm. He replied that some of there’s cashiers have kids to go home to. I’m trying to understand why he’s telling me that when he’s an mgr if your associate had to go that’s where you come in. I work customer service for 26 years and I work in a store and there’s always that last customer but there’s was of going about things. This is horrible horrible horrible customerservice. It’s not even that I couldn’t get checked out . It’s the lack of attention that I received I don’t think that’s how you...
