I’ll start off by saying that I want to give this gym 5 stars, I really do. It is the best gym within the distance I’m willing to commute. However, there are several glaring issues that I feel the need to address to justify my 3 stars.
Negatives:
Not open 24/7 Membership is overpriced for a gym that only offers a weight and cardio area. There’s no pool, no saunas, no courts, etc. ($70 for new members,$42 for MIL/First Responders Gym seems to ONLY play Reggaeton music and it all sounds the same. I don’t dislike the genre, but there should be more variety to match the diverse gym crowd. No organization to dumbbells/plates. No obvious labels on dumbbell rack so dumbbells are everywhere Not enough plates of certain weights - where are the 10s!? Re-racking rule no longer seems to be enforced, weights are consistently left on machines, dumbells left on the floor. Equipment is way too close together in places (leg area specifically) Men’s bathroom is consistently dirty and foul smelling Large amount of dust in bathroom exhaust fans and pipes throughout building, that has to be a health hazard Only two water fountains in entire gym, no water bottle refill machines on fountains, this should be standard. Florida’s tap water is consistently one of the dirtiest in the country. Stairmasters are now in a cramped room, half of them don’t work. I have yet to see a technician work on any out of service machines. Not sure what staff does other than man the front desk. Someone should be cleaning occasionally. The floors and cleaning rags are filthy, the bathroom is disgusting, equipment needs cleaning, etc. it’s clear none of that is being done. A lot of wannabe influencers filming themselves taking up space in the gym l, not the gyms fault but something to consider. I’ve observed several cars with no handicap placards/plates parked in handicap spaces. I’ve seen apparently able bodied people park in those spaces as well (no handicap placards/plates either). Seems to be that certain members and ownership think they can park anywhere they want. Disrespectful to anyone who actually needs those spaces in my opinion.
Positives:
NO CONTRACT. Pay by monthly debit and cancel anytime. Very nice. good variety of equipment good quantity of equipment A lot of NEW equipment Staff is friendly Check in is easy Plenty of parking Right off highway Smoothie bar (have not tried it yet) New ownership seems to be making improvements, not sure if they’ve asked the actual customers what they would like though.
Ownership, this gym could easily be 5 stars, just make the easy improvements and act like you care about...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your gym. As a member who values fitness and health, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism by your staff, particularly by personal trainers (Gentlemen with a bald head or a certain group around him) who are meant to support and guide clients in achieving their fitness goals. I experienced behavior that was not only unprofessional but deeply offensive. Instead of providing constructive feedback and encouragement, the personal trainers engaged in fat-shaming remarks directed towards me and even laughed at my appearance. This behavior was not only hurtful but completely unacceptable in a professional setting. I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that such behavior is not tolerated within your gym. This may include providing sensitivity training to your staff, implementing stricter guidelines for professional conduct, or even disciplinary action against the individual involved. Additionally, entering the gym, I anticipated a space for focus and motivation, but what I found was far from it. The atmosphere was suffocatingly loud, drowning out any semblance of tranquility. Conversations clashed with clangs of weights, creating a chaotic environment. What struck me most was the toxicity that pervaded the atmosphere. Instead of camaraderie, there was an undercurrent of aggression and competition. Personal space was disregarded, and derogatory comments lingered in the air, creating a hostile environment. Despite my attempts to tune out the noise, the negativity seeped into my mindset, draining my motivation. In a gym meant for self-improvement, I found myself battling not only physical challenges but also emotional ones. In summary; my experience highlighted the importance of fostering a positive gym environment. Until changes are made, I'll be seeking out a space where I can truly thrive both physically and mentally. Furthermore, since I'm a woman who competes in South America, this review has nothing to do with my appearance. And nobody has the right to treat you badly just because I wear baggy clothes and you can't see how I really appear. I imagine how the members that are somewhat a little overweight actually feel at this gym.
Please fix, for I actually heard the owner’s are...

I'm leaving this review to encourage the gym to make a few changes to enhance the overall experience. The gym is currently nice, but for the monthly fee, there are some areas where improvements could be made.
No Numbers on Weight Blocks: One of the simplest yet essential improvements is the lack of numbers on the weight blocks. Many machines don’t indicate the weight you’re lifting, making it challenging to track progress, especially for progressive overload. A straightforward fix would be to add simple labels to them.
Cardio Machines are Always Full: The cardio machines are consistently full, causing people to skip cardio. To address this, the gym should ensure a better balance between the number of machines needed and those that are underused, taking up space unnecessarily.
Music Quality: There are times when the music is not up to par, and I've heard others complaining as well. A simple fix would be for the staff to pay attention to the music, ensuring it is motivating and conducive to working hard.
Additionally, as a recommendation, I believe the gym could be much better organized by creating a top-view drawing of the gym with dimensions. This would allow for the machines to be placed in the right positions, optimizing the space and giving the gym a more professional look.
Let's keep making progress together for a better...
