So, went here for lunch and ordered a burrito, and fried taco because I’d never had one before. I live right across from this place so I only had to walk about 10ft to my building. I opened my food and immediately realized it was cold. I did a temp check with my finger, not only was the burrito cold on the inside, it was frozen! Cut open the frozen taco, same thing! Pre-made, frozen burrito! Never heard of such madness. I decided not to even take the mess back cuz I was just getting off work and was tired. I just put the burrito in the oven and threw the taco out. Won’t be ordering here again… Then, I’m on FB and see that this place has been ordered closed by the city: Via Local 10 News:

Read moreGood restaurant gone bad. This was one of my favorite restaurants until today. How horrible customer service can ruin an experience. They lack consistency which I have been okay with until today. In a matter of 6 days I order the same dish chorizo nachos—which they have manage to do differently every time. Today the nachos were super dry and lack beans and other basic ingredients. I asked the waiter for a little bit of the queso literally less that a 1.5oz portion of queso. The waiter responded extremely rude and proceeded to having a nasty nasty attitude. And proceeded to say prelims be an extra charge I say ok regardless of the lack of the basic ingredients charge the extra fee no problem. As he saw me writing this review he came and said “the same way your taking the time to write the review I hope you also highlighted the positive things” which follow to engage with me in an argument. As a business owner I am sad to see such behavior which is both unnecessary and distasteful not to say disrespectful to customer. I didn’t complain about the missing ingredients. I simply asked for a little I mean little bit of queso to combat the dryness of the dish. Needless to say last time. I had a feeling this employee was going to be a problem given his attitude from the...
Read moreWe ordered takeout from T vs.B a couple of weeks ago at this new location. We ordered several items: quesadillas, chicken mole, rice, beans, tortilla chips, chicken soup, and churros. The food was just ok, not up to the standards of their restaurant in NBV on E Treasure Dr. Only the chicken soup was delicious. I think the other items were lacking seasoning or too much of something. My personal favorite is their beef burritos. Did I say delicious? That'll teach me to try anything else.
We will wait a while before we go back until they are settled some more. The service was great as always! The ambiance was nice and relaxing. The place is clean, nicely decorated and friendly.
UPDATE: Yesterday, we stopped by to get takeout at their drive-thru. It was a little past lunchtime, so there wasn't a long line waiting. The cashier took our customized orders.
I ordered a Tostado with Carne Asada. It was freshly made while we waited. The steak was tender and medium. It came out perfect. My daughter ordered a Taco salad with Carne Asada, lettuce, guac, and tomatoes. She liked hers also.
T vs B make everything...
