I was debating between 3 and 4 stars for quite some time, but I am going with 4 stars because I plan on being a regular here. One big thing that you just can’t overlook about this place is the awesome ambiance. I simply love the layout and/or ambiance that makes dining in a joy. I love the small size of the location and even more the outside seating area with an overhang to protect from the elements, it’s very cozy and you still get all the best aspects of dining outside. I’ve dined in twice now and both times I sat in the outside seating area and surely had a pleasurable experience both times. I’ll warn the service is much closer to 3 stars, although the main waitress is pretty pleasant and does a good job there, I did find myself waiting a little long for small things like water, and a couple small issues with my preparation standards i.e. the circle of rice from my “Cabrito Assado” was sort of lopsided and falling apart when they served it to me (reference photos), and one of my orders of eggplant to- go came a little less well done than what it should have been and with too much oil, however I will note that I just went in last night and the chef corrected his mistake with the eggplant and it was cooked much better. Aside from that the food ingredients do seem to be quality and really most of it is quite good. I do recommend the lunch special with each dish coming in at $18 and 2 for 1 on beer and wine glasses which in my opinion is a nice kind of quaint deal, perfect for a lunch outing, and again, you will be getting your moneys worth. Additionally I do like that the owner is in much of the time to ensure that things are being run to his standards and what he likes, it also reinforces the idea that you don’t have to look very hard to find the higher up management because so often he is there. Of the five times I’ve been in I have seen him three times and that includes when I just drop in for a quick to go order, so good on him for caring enough about his restaurant to be there often. To concisely conclude my review; I gave 5 stars for ambiance, 3 stars service, and more like 4 stars for food, with the ingredients having 5 star potential (especially compared to price) however the prep in some cases does fall just a little short, but generally nothing to scoff at… I will also note that it does tend to be a notch better during the day in my experience when it seems the more permanent...

Braga is Miami's hidden gem. A small but very cozy Portuguese food restaurant in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Whenever I go I like to sit outdoor, so I can enjoy the breeze thanks to the proximity of the sea, which is a real luxury in Miami where it is always so hot and humid. The attention of its owner and waiters is exceptional, and the food is simply amazing. Of course, the star dish is cod but the entire menu is delicious. For those who don't eat seafood, I recommend the grilled chicken. It will be the best you've ever had, believe me. On my most recent visit I took a risk with the filet mignon which I like medium. It is not easy to find where they cook it well, and in most places I always get it almost raw or well done, but in Braga it was perfect. Also, for the first time I tried the almond cake instead of the pastel de nata which is my favorite and now it will be difficult to decide on one next time. It was delicious! You will never leave Braga disappointed, and I assure you that you...

I explained to waitress that I was in a rush with only 25min to spare and it was worth the random stop. The food was cooked quickly & it was surprisingly delicious. Though I was pressed with time & a bit nervous about parking at Fresco the quality is top notch. The restaurant is keep clean has elegant dinnerware & tablecloths. I'll be returning with more time so I can enjoy the variety of meals they offer. It's a small cozy restaurant & service is top notch. The small baguettes were fresh, no butter so you pour olive oil over them (even better). I had Churrasco with a small salad a glass of their House Red Wine from Portugal while my mother devoured the mixed seafood soup with same wine & boy was that flavor explosively fresh you'd say wow too! First time customer & will be returning. Give them a try. Nice place to go with a date. I visited on a Saturday around 5:30pm only 1 other couple inside & 1 customer outside. Check...

Very authentic delicious Portuguese food and drink. We loved it here. I've travelled to Portugal quite a lot and the good here equals anything I've had there. The cod croquetas were delicious and the bean salad they came with was a tasty bonus. Then we had sardines (grilled to perfection and rivalling the best street grill restaurants we love in Matosinhos) and the Arroz de Bacalhau, which was sweet with saffron and the cod melted in the mouth. Then to top it off Pasteis de Nata for dessert, also the best I've had in a long time. The complementary glass of ruby port at the end sealed the deal. Oh and the wine! Another bottle of Muralhas Vino Verde next time we come too please 😁 If you're visiting Miami try to come, it's only a little hop from downtown on the Metrorail and a perfect lunch stop if you're going to Velázquez museum and gardens..
