What a "Lucky" and incredible find we made by Googling "Thai food Middlebury". I think this is my first Google Review ever, which goes to show just how amazing Lucky Thai is. I really feel like I need to support this amazing place and tell everyone about it. First thing to know - it's not a sit-down restaurant. Very different operational model. You call or text your order from the menu on their Facebook or Google Business page, then they'll text you back with the time they can have it ready for. Cash or check only. They cook out of their home kitchen, and it's authentic Thai. What really compelled me to leave a review was the quality and the quantity of their portions. We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Chicken Satay. Every single item was amazing. The satay was tender, the homemade peanut ginger dipping sauce was perfect. The chicken soup was perfectly clear but deeply flavorful broth, with a whole separate container of add-ins like bean sprouts and Thai basil leaves. The Drunken Noodles are spicy (love it) and packed full of shrimp and veggies, and the Pad Thai was not overwhelmingly saucy (a good thing) and yet had incredible flavor. Best of all, none of us could finish even half our dinners, and not we're having leftovers tonight. For a very reasonable price, the portions were large. We'll be ordering here again any time we feel like Thai. This place is a hidden gem...

Psyched about this place! I'm a native Vermonter returning from years in the bay area and New York City and this Thai food is some of the best I've had. So fresh and flavorful—and the spicy is actually spicy.

One of the challenges for me in eating/ordering out is the usual sad lack of veggies in any given entree. Not here! Get the drunken noodles.

Lucky ME for finding this place. The food is stellar, the service spectacular, and the people are warm and wonderful. I arrived a bit early to pick up a large order, and as they were packaging it up in the kitchen, I had a lovely conversation with the salon owner (who ended up fixing my hair and giving me compliments and advice while I waited!) Will be back often for the food, and now...
