To be transparent my 1 star is based off of my social media break experience and not the service that you receive in the store.
When you go in this shop they are very welcoming an treat you great.
When a person buys into a break they should get what they pay for. Just because a person doesn't get lucky this time with a big hit doesn't mean that they don't want the cards that they hit in the break. They literally didn't sleeve a few rookies that I won. The cards arrived damaged, corners bent, and one had a bend that I'm suspecting didn't happen during shipping considering the package was perfect but more likely during the packaging process
Ie: you should take into account that most of us don't have access to tons of hobby products at decent discounts. A lot of us can't afford several hobby boxes so we buy into breaks knowing that we may not hit anything.
With that said, when I pay for a break I expect to get the cards that I won during the break. I don't care if it's base vets which they don't send. Base color vets that they don't send. We also want the RC that you send to be in the same condition as they were pulled.
You would think that a sports card shop could at least put a penny sleeve on rc before they send them. You would think that they would at least try to take into account that while this person may not have hit anything big, that the rookies that they hit should be given at least an attempt to protect them.
I don't like and I for sure don't like the excuses of "it takes to much time to penny sleeve thousands of cards during a break". That's not my problem. Some of us are set builders, and or have fave players who may not be the star rookie.
If you can't handle the responsibility of taking care of people's cards that you seem to be worthless, then you shouldn't be offering breaks. You will need get my money again for a break. I've already told and shown several people that I know that are in this hobby my experience. I also posted in sports card nonsense about my experience.
You literally destroyed a skenes rookie that I hit by not even putting it in a sleeve or top loader. Maybe you didn't notice it. Again not my problem. This isn't a one off. You didn't sleeve any rookie, insert, or base cards that I got. It makes no sense to know that you value your customer base so little even though they are paying you more money than almost every other...
Read morePaid $40 for a tick toc break to only hit two base cards. That happens and I'm fine with that. But they sent the base cards without even a penny sleeve and they are both damaged. If you can't charge enough to put a penny sleeve on the cards before shipping maybe you shouldn't be doing breaks. This is the only time I haven't gotten cards, even base in...
Read moreA+ experience at CCâs Sports Cards. The staff was attentive and helpful. I came in to the shop to drop off cards to have graded and pick up a couple boxes to rip. Mark and Gino answered all my questions and even took the extra step of prepping my grading order.
If you live on the north shore, or are just looking for a card shop in general I highly...
