The store has totally gone down hill. Walk in and look around. This is a thrift shop, not Sears, not even Walmart. We would make pretty hefty purchases and donated all the time. Now, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars and buy brand new, rather pay high prices for second hand housewares. The staff is not friendly at all, and lie. My last visit to Middletown location, the new lady behind the counter wanted to charge $3.00 each for a set of 4 drinking glasses, $12.00 for the set. I gave her this crazy look, and her response was " they are from Italy, which is why they are $3 each" I told her, " well, I guess you need to pull the "made in China," sticker off." BEWARE... When I asked cashier for this discount, she said "That was yesterday".
