A Disappointing Experience with Sears Home Services
As a frustrated customer of Sears Home Services, I feel compelled to share my disheartening experience with their incompetent management and unreliable scheduling system. The inefficiency and lack of accountability at Sears Home Services have left me with unresolved appliance issues and a deep sense of dissatisfaction.
One of the most glaring issues with Sears Home Services is their abysmal scheduling system. Appointments are frequently canceled at will, causing tremendous inconvenience and disruptions to customers’ daily lives. I have lost count of the number of times my appointments were rescheduled without prior notice or even worse, canceled outright. This unreliable scheduling practice reflects a complete lack of respect for customers’ time and signifies a deep-rooted flaw in the company’s organizational structure.
Furthermore, the inability of Sears Home Services to effectively address and resolve appliance issues is deeply concerning. Despite repeated service calls and promises of repair, my appliances continue to malfunction, plunging me into a cycle of frustration and disappointment. The incompetence displayed by Sears Home Warranty in diagnosing and fixing appliance problems speaks volumes about the company's lack of expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction.
In addition to their poor schedule management and inability to deliver on promises, Sears Home Services's customer service is sorely lacking. Attempts to seek clarification or escalate concerns are met with dismissive responses and a complete disregard for customer grievances. This dismissive attitude only serves to compound the frustration and disappointment felt by customers who have placed their trust in Sears Home Services to uphold their end of the service agreement.
In conclusion, Sears Home Services's mismanagement of schedules, inability to address appliance issues, and poor customer service reflect a company that is failing to meet the basic expectations of its customers. I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of Sears Home Services and explore alternative options for reliable and competent home warranty services. It is clear that Sears Home Services has a long way to go in improving their operations and restoring faith in their ability to provide quality service...
Read moreTHIS IS A REVIEW FOR NATIONWIDE SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR and not the Sears Hometown store in Middletown, DE. Sears appliance repair sent me a link for a review, and it seems to reference Sears Hometown store in Middletown.
I have a Kenmore Elite French door fridge that is 3 1/2 years old. It suddenly stopped working. I called the 800# provided with my owners manual and got an appointment 2 days later. The technician was professional, on time, and nice. He replaced the faulty compressor, and flushed, drained and refilled the coolant system. I paid $421 for labor (compressor was under warranty). I waited the 24-36 hours, the ice maker made ice, and I thought I was all set. The following morning, the ice it had made was melted and the fridge wasn't cold. The repair didn't work.
I called the 800# again to have someone come back out, and the next appointment is in 11 days! I pleaded with the representative, spoke with the escalation team, all to no avail. They do not care to correct their company's mistake in a timely manner. The escalation team member, Frank, couldn't get his contacts on the phone, and gave me a website, because he had to get off the phone to help other customers. Sears used to be the Gold Standard; it is no wonder they're going out of business with customer treatment like that.
Now, for Sears Hometown store in Middletown. I have bought several appliances from them over the years and have always been happy. I decided to take all of my paperwork to them and see if I could get a credit for the repair bill and apply it to a new fridge or if there is anything else they can do. The owner took my information and will have his service manager try to escalate with Sears Appliance Repair on Monday. Thank...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I have ever had from a service I paid for in my 50 years on this planet. There customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with ever and I would never recommend them. I first started with scheduling an appointment online where no one showed or called. When I called they proceeded to tell me that the information I entered in there system was not correct. As if I do not know what my own name is, where I built my house, or what my phone number was. Not to mention the washer and dry I had was not new or purchased by me and my husband. After hanging up on me, I finally talked to someone who changed my info in the system and sent someone out.
When the repair guy came out I paid for the repair and for them to clean my dryer when they returned. it was a different repair person that came back out and when I told him a bout cleaning the dryer he I don't know anything about it it's not in his notes and call the office. So I called the office and again I am being told who I am and what the conversation was that I had with the first repair person. Then I said well We need to talk to the first person that came out, I was told its not in our system.... this place is totally unprofessional, there customer service / schedulers are the worst and if I were anyone in need of these types of services SEARS REPAIR would be the last place on god green earth I would...
