Pats select in Middletown de is truly & utterly disgusting.... I have never seen such in my life..... for an establishment to be centered in the “heart” of Middletown surrounded by mostly minorities they sure do have a funny way of making us feel welcomed.... since I was a kid I have ALWAYS ran to pats for a slice of cheese pizza after school..... a few years ago I’d noticed that they “don’t sell slices”.... here’s the catch you can order a slice but only if you pre order it over the phone .... weird right? You can not walk into the establishment to order it.... there has been a host of times where Minorities have been asked to leave the lobby and step outside (wait) for their order to be made..... I have personally been a victim of this..... it’s crazy because if you are from Middletown 2007 & prior you know that WE built pats.... we were the only patrons they had.... when pats was only a little nook on the corner of the complex.... today I received a call about a sign on their doors... you tell me what you think about it..... now I personally think “sagging” is trifling but who are you to tell someone how to wear their pants & who are you to determine if someones pants are on appropriately smh it’s sad how they are ... from George Effie & Chris (even tho he tries to rectify George’s foul behavior) George comes off as a nasty racist but that’s just my opinion 🤷🏾♀️ ..... i had to lay him out before because he disrespected me on numerous occasions & one particular day a lady had to intervine , I Believe she was the franchise owner whomever she was she was above him, she had to tell him to go to the back so she could speak w me because he was being so vulgar I’m truly disgusted I won’t be patronizing them anymore.......

We tried, many times, we really did. To be fair, we complemented them and let them know when their food as particularly good, as it generally is. Unquestionably and enthusiastically, we enjoy their food. But the service . . . the service, makes up for it. Since June, I have had more than five incorrect take-out orders, including one particularly memorable instance of two hoagies to go, and one had the lunch meat and cheese for both sandwiches. How does an employee manage that? Even this we could deal with. But to speak to management about these issues, and receive hostility and disrespect back -- I draw the line. Tonight (26 DEC) I ordered forty dollars worth of takeout. After paying, I noticed that the pizza they gave me was not the one I ordered. When I pointed it out, and told the manager (owner? Russian man about 60 or so) that this happens entirely too often, he got upset and told me ". . . Not gonna argue with you" as he threw up his hands and walked away back into the kitchen. This is not the first time I have had such a run-in with management of this restaurant. This last summer, speaking with a Russian lady (presumably the above-named man's wife) about the mixed-up order I drove away with, I was laughed at. Good restaurants accomplish routine tasks routinely. Bad restaurants constantly screw things up. Really bad restaurants (or, should I say, the REALLY BAD MANAGEMENT of a swiftly-going-bad restaurant, aka Pat's Middletown) redirect the problem to you when you point out their errors. Read moreThis place has really bad service try to order food for delivery took 20 times telling them the address after speaking to more then one employee for just the address which shouldn’t be happening when they deliver here all the time so don’t understand why had to be told 20 different times they try to tell me they don’t have Maryland jumbo lump crab cake dinner meal comes with 2 crab cakes and frys for 24.99 was told all they have for crab cakes on the menu was slider when I’m looking straight at their menu the sell a crab cake diner meal the sliders or 1 crab cake on their online menu that was a fight had to talk 4 or 5 different employees their about the Maryland crab cakes still wasn’t get no where so I said so your telling me you got items that are on the menu that you never had in store the guy goes I guess so why would you put false things on your menu made me so mad and I have a picture of your menus with the item on it under your seafood section so please reach out these issues shouldn’t be happening will not be eating form this...
