I attempted to return clothes purchased by my husband. He had removed parts of the tags to avoid my immediately seeing the prices. The clerk Loreatha had a scowl on her face when I walked up to the counter. When she saw that parts of the tags were missing she complained verbally that they were missing. Continued to grumble under her breath as she performed the necessary task of having to type in each item to process the return. After each item was processed she aggressively threw them behind her on a counter of other items. After all that drama she asked for the card my husband used to purchase the items. Of course I don’t carry my husband’s card. The purchase was made almost a week prior. When I told her I didn’t have the card she refused to credit our account. Only offered an in store credit. I’m wondering why she didn’t check the card issue before all the drama. Terrible policy for cards Kohls and your employees need training on proper customer service. I definitely won’t be shopping Kohl’s...
Read moreDepending on the store, depends on the service. Went to 5 different stores looking for a book. Went to the Mason store and they were helpful and let us know that South Lebanon had what we were missing. Drove the 30 minutes there and they did not have it. They said West Chester had 11 copies and we should go there. After another 30 minute drive, they didn't have it either. They were nice and looked it up for us and said Middletown had 23 copies. Got up this morning and drove the 40 minutes to this store and you guessed it, had non on hand. They were not helpful in any regards. In their words "there's a Kohls in Union Landing". I explained that I wasn't from here and didn't know where it was. The lady at the service desk looked at me and point it's up that way. Great help. Finally after figuring out where it was, I was successful and found the last book. 4 out of the 5 stores were very helpful, however, the Middletown store was absolutely terrible in...
Read moreIf I could give this store zero stars I would, solely based on my interaction with the store employees. I arrived at 8:25pm to drop off 4 Amazon returns. The employee first asked me how many returns I had. Assuming if I only had one return they would have processed my order. When I told her I had 4, she told me they stop taking Amazon returns at 8:00pm so that they have enough time to process the returns.
After I showed them the return information on Amazon (see picture), another employee proceeded to tell me that they are doing Amazon a favor and Kohl’s doesn’t receive any benefits.
I had planned on shopping for a few items while in the store, all items of which would have been an impulse buy due to the fall decorations display I saw when I walked in the store.
The times provided by Amazon for returns should be followed and not at the discretion of the individual...
