Update November 2024: It's time to officially compliment the entire Meijer team at the Towne Blvd Meijer store. Special recognition is due to the corporate management including all the company departments within who are doing a spectacular job in overseeing and carrying out the wonderful storewide upgrade renovation, inventory reorganization, facilities, computer resources, hands-on floor foreman, leadership and all their staff, and all the employees working all the shifts from greeters, to stockers, to checkout personnel who I love so much. It's looking more fantastic every time I shop. Cheers to everyone at Meijer's Towne Blvd superstore and all loyal customers! Meijer is open daily from 6:00am till midnight 12:00am. Meijer will usually have the same products you're used to stocked in the same place week after week, month after month. I use the Meijer App on my phone to get mPerks rewards for spending total ($2-$4 off). Now the same mPerks rewards can also be used at the Meijer gas station and you will also be able to choose what products you prefer to apply your rewards discount on. The Meijer App is reliable and versatile for checking the weekly ad, creating shopping lists, clipping coupons, ordering online for pickup without leaving your car, or in store. The app will also notify you when your most frequently purchased items are on sale. Meijer is my favorite go to supermarket not only for the consistent inventory of my regular shopping items, but also because I get top notch service from my favorite long time employees, especially at checkout because I like to check out in the cashier attended checkout lane. instead of the self checkout lanes. I do my shopping mostly during the later shift. And I am mostly always checking out with 1 of my 3 very favorite cashiers who are Cheryl, Lisa and Josh. They all go all out with such care and optimal service. I know I will never want to do my shopping anywhere else than Meijer's. Meijer's has been improving the mPerks customer rewards by upgrading their electronic transactional nodes and devices, all of which are. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place used to be my favorite place to shop. Now, not so much. Probably just because employers are desperate to hire people they will just hire anyone. Twice I went to the same cashier and I forgot to put in my number until I was ready to pay and I said something and she said oh it's too late, I tried to enter my receipt on the app but couldn't because she put in her or someone's number. Both times I had over $300 in groceries. I work and I use those points for gas. Also the dates on food are really close to expiring, I mean a week or 2 or even expired usually the same item has a few more before it expires if not more. So I end up not buying that because I can't eat it in a week and end up going somewhere else to buy the items. I'm really close to saying forget it and just going elsewhere because I get off work at 630 am and I do not feel like running around town trying to find a place to shop. It'd be different if these places were open all night again and I had time on my 1 day off. Also Employees attitudes just stink. I've asked before where certain things are and the moan and groan. I'm not asking them to make it for me, just tell me what aisle. Only takes 3 secs. I deal with the public also so I get it but it's so much easier to tell them where something is instead of them constantly getting in your way as you are trying to work. I want to update. Since this post lol everyone is extremely nice, says hi or nods their head and ask if i needd help, which i always do sunce its been remolded....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStore could use some work. Employees are wonderful- friendly and helpful but you cannot find anyone to help after 9 pm. Shelves are frequently out of stock or have outdated and damaged/dented items. Recently I tried to get s canned good and I picked up 5 damaged cans before I could find one. Milk is almost always out of stock in the evening on weekends. Meat is frequently out of stock on popular items. Forget trying to find sale items on the 10/$10 sale. I think they take produce away at night, the berries are always down to the moldy ones, no asaparagus corn or zucchini in sight. I think the store could use a good cleaning (ceiling tiles are gross, sticky shelves, marked up floors). There are never enough cashiers- frequently just one or two lanes open with long lines. It takes you longer to check out and pay for your groceries than it does to shop!
So I said a lot of negative things. Let me share things that are positive. Parking is usually great. They provide hand wipes at the cart area. There is usually a friendly greeter as you enter the store. They have a huge selection of items! The bathrooms are usually clean. The cashiers are friendly and personable. I feel like the employees try to make it a great experience but have limited resources to do so.
It would be great if Meijer would consider remodeling this busy store and revamping things that arenāt working! Middletown/Franklin doesnāt have many retailers, so itās your chance to...
