ALDI — Local services in Middletown

If you’re not an ALDI shopper, you should be! Their Choceur brand chocolates are better than any other chocolates I’ve ever been able to afford or try. Their salsa is wonderful! Frozen chicken is top notch (I’ve had the honey battered breast chunks and the red bag breaded breast fillets). Breaded pork fritters; French fries; cookies; calzones… soooo many tasty things! They do have healthy foods that are really good, from protein powders and drinks to fresh produce and fresh meats. MOST of the prices are lower than your other local stores, but for me, the unique products they carry are what draws me there. They also have a long aisle of fun things like shoes, clothing, items for the yard, kitchen, car, etc, and these products are available for only a very limited time. You can see their weekly ads on their website or app, and the ads show what special limited time products are currently available and what will be coming the following week. I admit, it took me shopping at ALDI several times before I jumped into the pool of ALDI fans. I just shop for myself, thus the processed frozen foods that are easily divided up for 1 serving. Shopping for a larger family, this store could save you a lot of $$$! Bring a quarter for your shopping cart (you get it back) and bags or boxes to put your groceries in, as they don’t provide bags free of charge. You bag your own groceries. Very ghetto very unprofessional! It’s 930 in morning me and 3 other ppl stand in line while works are stocking . One worker walks right past us turn around look us in the eye an kept going about his day 5 min later a woman says he a be right there.. 1 min later a young boy comes huffing and puffing !he slammed in the chair ! He threw his walker talkie by the cash register! He starts ringing up an older lady 60 some .. and he is throwing her food in cart !!! Not gentle at all ! The manager ( black lady) walks past says what’s going on the old lady an me says he is being rude throwing the groceries… she just walks away!!!! Don’t spend money here ! Rude...

The store was clean and we were able to get everything we came for. Unfortunately the cashier who checked us out is extremely rude. I believe her name is Graciana. We shop there weekly and dread checking out with her because she doesn’t care about the groceries we’re purchasing. She throws the items in the cart almost with disgust and has damaged multiple groceries of ours. She always has an attitude and gets annoyed when you have to ask her to repeat herself because she mumbles in her mask. She is the only cashier that acts that way, I don’t know what her problem is but she clearly doesn’t care about her job and treating the customers or products...
