Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Middletown

I remember coming here a few years ago and the selection of available items were much better. The array of spices and herbs as well as some interesting international cooking items are pretty good and nicely priced. Some choices of cooking materials like pots and pans and utensils are decent. Even the selection of discount winter coats and "irregular" name brand clothing was decent, but it's not the place I remember. Even with people who have been going here recently, they say the store is on a decline. We used to have much more exciting finds and and great bargains for everyday items. Now, it just seems the isles are bombarded by pallets of unsellable wears and mountains...

This Ocean State Job Lot has a little bit of everything your looking for. The only complaint I have are the cash registers and the small amount of counter space you have to put what your buying on. Somehow makes it feel as if your in a rush and have no space to do what is needed to get out of there ! You have to buy your own bag's, so if you go there , I suggest you buy a couple of them , they are good size and less than$1.00 so it's not so bad , unless if you prefer to use the paper bags that easily break. I had an opportunity to shop at the Middletown Ocean State Job Lot store today.
