I firmly believe that if you have nothing nice to say you should say nothing at all which is why I will start this out by saying that the quality of jeans sold at the buckle is phenomenal. In fact the quality of these jeans led to myself and two friends enduring an hour of what I can only assume was the retail version of waterboarding, in order to find the right pair. I knew before walking into this verifiable dumpster fire that the workers are paid on commission. With this knowledge I believed, incorrectly, that my friends and I would be able to kindly inform the employee who met us at the door that we were just browsing and would likely be buying a pair of jeans or two and that we needed little-to-no assistance. After meeting with five of the seven employees I counted I realized that there was no amount of discouragement that these employees would take. Despite mentioning multiple times that we were not shopping for shoes or Jean shorts or shirts or bracelets or really anything other than jeans, a variety of items were brought to the door of the dressing room where my friend patiently tried on her selections. The constant bombardment of these employees not only ruined my shopping experience but also made me reconsider the purchase of these jeans both now and moving forward. The final nail in this coffin was the 5th employee who asked three separate times if my friends or I would like a Buckle Credit Card (despite the simple and undeniable response of “No” the first as second times). Finally, when the end of this torture was in sight, this same employee, Austin, got into an argument with his coworker behind the counter making an unnecessary scene about the boxes behind the counter. Likely the boxes of the three different pair of shoes brought to us during our shopping experience, I couldn’t help but come to the conclusion that there is no manager in this store. I have never been so relieved as to leave this commission based asylum with my modest purchase and what was left of my sanity. Will The Buckle cry over the loss of one customer? Likely not and that’s okay. Will I be called Karen over this? Probably. Do I feel better? No, because I still need a new place to buy pants. The star is for the pants and...

A girl named Jessica with red hair was so so helpful in helping me find the jeans I needed but the girl at checkout (I think she was the manager) was rude as HELL at checkout. No enthusiasm, had an attitude and just plain rude … good things she wasnt the one that I asked for help… she probably wouldn’t have helped me anyways. Her name tag said “cee”. The buckle is lucky I love their jeans so much and Jessica was so nice...
