We Rock the Spectrum - Midland — Local services in Midland

Drove all the way to midland from big spring and they were closed due to a private party. I wasted my free time and gas money. They need to have it on their website when they are going to do that as to not waste peoples time and money.

Edit: the owner replied saying they have dates and times of private parties posted on their website and social media. We looked at the website and on Facebook when we saw they were closed for a private party, and we saw nothing posted. We didn’t see anything on the website for a party that day and nothing was posted on their website. I feel like the owner is trying to CYA, and that makes it worse. I made sure to look on the website and social media before I made this review. They also mentioned that I could have called before I drove to their business. Which would make sense if they had something on their website mentioning to call before you go, but they didn’t. I guess they think people are stupid. The place was great and the kids had fun, but the employees are EXTREMELY rude. I even had multiple party guests come up to me and tell me the same. One lady sat right outside of the room on the other side of the glass and watched into the room the entire time. They were so insistent on staying on their schedule and recommended we not even open gifts at the party because she's 'found that it takes away from the kids play time.' they asked if they could cut the cake while people were still eating and I felt too nervous to tell her no because of the way they had already been talking to us. They made comments about having to cut a big cake when there's "not even that many people." We felt rushed and uncomfortable the entire time and ended up cleaning up and leaving before our time was up. I'm not sure if they were annoyed with us because we had a party on a cold Sunday afternoon, but I've read other reviews about the employees being rude as well. Paid $500 for a 2 hour party and by the end of the party we were all very uncomfortable due to the way staff rushed us during the party. They grabbed all of my guests belongings (bags/purses, jackets,etc.) to clean off the tables with no prior warning that we needed to start cleaning up. Also very rude about telling us it was time to exit the building even though we were already by the exit putting kids shoes on to leave. Horrible attitudes, very rude, and when confronted they showed no empathy just excused with “I wasn’t trying to be rude” when very clearly they were being rude. Owner keeps stating they will “talk with staff” but seems to be an ongoing issue based off of previous reviews. Very disappointed.
