I really want to like this place but I've been here several times and it just seems to be getting less attractive and have fewer vendors. Each visit I believe I have less booths to visit and there are so many empty booths spaces now. It also seems like the booths that are filled are all selling similar items - especially the new age crystal/witchcraft-y items. I liked this location when they first opened and they were more like a Lazy Daisy or Bee Charmed store. I went into this store on 7/23/2025 at 715 PM. I know that the store closes at 8 PM, but I was trying to quickly look for a gift. I felt as if I was being followed through the store, so I walked to the other side of the store to see if I was correct in my thinking, and I was! The employee that was following me appeared behind me, pretending to sniff candles! I promptly left the store. I don't need to be followed or lurked after in a store. Painted Tree is fantastic! This place hosts numerous local vendors so you can support local and see a plethora of different items. It's like a year-round craft fair, crystal market, local clothing design market, etc. With the variety, you can find something for everyone, and prices are really fair. Plus, this stuff is high quality, not mass produced. Definitely stop by. This is my new place to go for gifts!
