Three times I have been to this location and yesterday was the worst! I placed an order via the Tropical Smoothie App, and when I arrived at the estimated pickup time, I had to wait an additional 15 mins get just the first of 2 smoothies. Three other people, waiting in the lobby had their drink orders started and handed over before I was even given my second smoothie. If my order was placed for two, shouldn't they be coming out at the same time?? Upon entry to this cafe, the floors look as if they haven't been swept or mopped in weeks, the walls of the counter are dirty and coated with stains and who knows what ever else. Peeking in the back prep area, it looks bad enough that you would almost want to cancel your order. Crumbs everywhere, floor un-swept, and not a sanitization concern being shown anywhere. Of the three visits to the location, it's always the same there; the employees seem to not have a care about customer satisfaction, and are constantly giving (I'm guessing that he's the Cafe Lead / Management) a hard time. While waiting, two other guest stated their displeasure with the staff and order wait time. The three of us all agreed, We will never return to this location. And I'll go a step further, who ever owns this location, I wish them nothing but failure at the highest regard. If you can't listen to your customers and get it together, maybe you shouldn't be owning a business. Review after review states the same thing, and yet still, there is no change or correction for this issues / concerns of your guest. Hell, the smoothies that we ordered didn't even get consumed after we tasted them. My Peanut Paradise didn't even look or taste like the smoothies I have received at other locations, so they both went in the trash. Do better management, Do a...
Read moreTo start, management needs to hire some employees with better customer service skills. These young people who are running the store just aren’t cutting it. I walked into this location around 8:58 pm under the impression that they didn’t close up shop until 10 pm (A small misunderstanding). Mind you there were two other couples in the store when my mom and I pulled up and walked in. After walking in and making eye contact with several employees in the back of the store, my mom and I browsed over the menu for about a minute or two, still having not received any greeting or service. By this time, the other two couples had left the store. One employee was bending down stocking a shelf and looked up, saw us, removed her gloves, greeted us, and proceeded to take our order. After requesting that peaches be added to my mango magic smoothie, an employee yelled the young woman’s name (Emma) from the back of the store and informed her that the store was closed. The employee who yelled proceeded to walk over to inform my mom and I that the store was closed and they aren’t making anymore smoothies. If that was the case, why was I able to enter the store, browse the menu, and almost complete my order??? Emma apologized for the inconvenience but the other employees in the back could have cared less. This is the perfect example of young employees who have no idea what customer service really is. I was highly upset that both my mom and I were not only ignored and not acknowledged upon entering the establishment but also denied being able to place or even finish an order even though we entered the store before the 9 pm closing time. I left this Tropically Smoothie location with a sour taste in my mouth. Something needs to be done about these young employees and their awful customer...
Read moreCommonwealth Parkway, Midlothian Va location: I just received the WORST customer service experience I’ve probably every experienced. I go to this location at least once a week if not more. I did an online order and it said it would be ready by 6:48. Now I’m not impatient, I stand under the sign that reads “Online Order Pickup!!”, which is in purple writing placed there for a reason, so I thought. So I stand and stand, three people who enter after me, stand in the line and receive their order before me, ok cool. I’m standing there, no greeting...no we’ll be right with you...no NOTHING. Another person comes and stands right beside me...his smoothie is being made and he’s recognized by a staff member, he gets an apology and his smoothie...still nothing is said to me. So at this point I’m fed up, “Hello!! Does anyone see me standing here” Girl with red hair rudely asks well what did you order? I tell her...well it’s not ready yet...We’ll clearly I can see that. So my smoothie is finally made because my ticket had been thrown under a basket and they hand it to me with most of it dripping on the side of the cup. I wipe it off but then realize I’m not taking this. I request a refund and give the smoothie back. A nice young man helps me but then the red head girl comes back with her attitude and asks what the problem I tell her I wasn’t greeted or asked if I needed help until I said something. She proceeds to say out of her mouth that I didn’t ask for help!!! Why do you think I’m standing here? No apology no nothing she storms off and goes outside the back door. Smh no more of my money will go to that particular...
