I JUST ARRIVED HOME AFTER GOING LAST NIGHT TO EXCHANGE A GIFT RECEIVED AND HAVING TO RETUR THIS MORNING TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. LAST NIGHT IT TOOK THREE ASSOCIATES TO GIVE ME A CORRECT ANSWER ON HOW TO DO THE EXCHANGE AD ALSO BEING TOLD THAT I HAVE HAD TOO MANY RETURNS WHEN I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE BECAUSE I CARE NOT TO SHOP THERE UNLESS NECESSARY.. AFTER LETTINNG THE ONE GIRL KNOW THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TRANSACTION SHE LOOKED AGAIN THOROUGHLY AND SAID "OH I MEAN THAT DUE TO THE PRICE I HAVE TO ISSUE A GIFT CARD WHICH WAS FINE BY ME. THEN ABOUT TO MAKE THAT TRANSACTION ANOTHER CAME BY AND SAID THAT THAT WAS OT THE WAY HANDLED. THEN ANOTHER CAME WHO KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING BUT BY THAT TIME IT WAS ALMOST CLOSING AND I HAD TO RETURN TODAY AS SAID BEFORE AND NOT MUCH TO MY SURPRISE HAD TO DEAL W/ FOUR DIFFERENT ONES AFTER SHOPPING FOR TWO HOURS AND WAS TOLD RUDELY BY AN OLD GROUCHY RUDE WOMAN THAT I SHOULD TAKE MY THINGS TO ANOTHER LINE AND LET OTHERS DO THEIR RETURNS AND SHE WOULD JUST ISSUE A GIFT CARD SO I COULD PAY FOR THE ITEMS I WAS EXCHANGING FOR. AFTER REMOVING THE ITEMS OFF THE BELT SHE THEN SAID THAT SHE COULD NOT ISSUE A GIFT CARD DUE TO THE PRICE(THIRD TIME BY AN ASSOCIATE) AND WAS TO PUT MY ITEMS BACK ON THE BELT WHICH I PROCEEDED TO DO. THEN SHE GASPS AND SAID THAT NONE OF THE ITEMS WERE FROM THE DEPARTMENT THAT THE RETURN WAS FROM AND HAD TO PUT THEM BACK. BY THIS POINT AFTER PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF FOR THE THIRD TIME. THEN AFTER PROCEEDING TO DO SO WAS TOLD BY A SUPERVISOR PASSING BY THAT IT MAY BE DONE. I ASKED FOR A MANAGER AND THE GROUCH WOULD NOT DO SO AND POINTED ME TO THE SAME SUPERVISOR THAT I HAVE BEEN DEALING W/ SINCE LAST NIGHT. I KNOW I AM RAMBLING BUT THIS WAS THE WHOLE REASON I DO NOT SHOP THERE. ONE THING THEIR PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS AND THE STAFF IS SO INEXPERIENCED! THE YOUNG LADY SUPERVISOR WAS THE ONLY INFORMATIVE ONE! I JUST ENDED UP LEAVING THE $100 CURLING IRON UP THEE AND THE BASKET OF ITEMS SO I COULD GO HOME AND BREATH BEFORE I BLEW UP! IT WOULD BE VERY NICE TO HAVE ONE SALES ASSOCIATE KNOW WHAT THE RETURN RULE IS IF THE Y ARE GOING TO BE DOING THEM AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. I KNEW MORE THAN THEY DID AND I HAVE BEEN THERE MAYBE TWICE AND THOSE TIMES WERE TODAY AND LAST NIGHT! A SALES ASSOCIATE SHOULD NEVER TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT SHE IS WRONG AND AT LEAST CHECK FIRST. SHE PURPOSELY TIED TO MAKE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND TRIED TO HAVE ME MOVE TO ANOTHER ISLE BECAUSE SHE DID NOT WANT TO DO THE WORK OF RINGING UP MORE THAN TWO ITEMS! I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK TO A STORE MANAGE AND YOU WOULD THINK AT LEAST AN ASSISTANT MANAGER WOULD BE AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT END AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. IF YOU ARE A BUSY MOTHER AD GRANDMOTHER DO NOT WASTE YOUR OH SO PRECIOUS TIME AT THIS STORE, HEAD TO THE NEW WAL MART YOU MIGHT GET A LITTLE BIT BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR BAH HUMBUG! THE TRUE MEANING SHOULD NOT BE ABOUT PRESENTS ANYWAY BUT GIVING TO THOSE IN NEED OR JUST BEING W/ FAMILY AND PRAY THAT IT DOESN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN IT HAS! GREEDY, GROUCHY, MEAN PEOPLE IN A HURRY TO GET NOWHERE SHOULD STOP AND TAKE A MINUTE TO REALIZE WHAT CHRISTMAS IS TRULY ABOUT! Read moreThe actually online shopping experience was great, however, the pickup experience was not. The email detailing how to pick up my order did not match the store layout. Immediately to my left after I walked in there was a section with a giant sign that said "Ordering pick up" so I naturally walked over there because that's where I figured the order pickup counter mentioned in the email would be. Other Targets I've been to have a counter labeled order pickup immediately after walking in. There was no one in that section so after waiting for a minute and looking around, I assumed it must be like picking up a takeout order in which you find the bag with your name on it. An employee came back and barked at me "um what are you doing in here???" I told her that I was here to pick up my order and since this section is labeled ordering pickup and is right next to the entrance, logically I assumed it was here. She and her rude attitude redirected me to guest services, which only had a sign for checkout and returns. How was I to know? After waiting for 10 minutes I was finally helped. I've been in several Targets and even was employed for a remodel and this is by far the most poorly designed Target I've ever been in. Lots of traffic jams, long lines, and confusingly labeled areas. I don't know how I was supposed to know NOT to head towards the section that said ordering pickup, which had no "employee only" signage, but instead go to guest services which is only labeled as checkout and returns. Read moreI was shopping for a television that was in your weekly ad. This was my 3rd Target location visit that afternoon. There weren’t any units available online and after going through 3 people to ask about price matching the online sale price the manager walks out of his comes to the register and begins to go through the research UPC process and says this is not the one on line and goes through telling me more specifically information. I stood there in disbelief because evidently he wasn’t listening to me nor was there any empathy to my situation. I was asking for the price match because of all the trouble I had gone through at the previous stores and being told by the associate at the second store I visited that the Brandermill location had what I was looking for. No offer for rain check, additional 5% off - nothing. And then to add insult to injury he asks me “so do you still want it?” As if I am done talking about this with you and let’s get this over with. I promise you I will NEVER purchase anything else from this store. Honestly being humiliated while spending $179.00 is ridiculous and I this purchase was not for my father was is a senior stuck at home I would have left it there.
