I tried to call to speak with the owner versus leaving this here but I’ve been calling since they opened 30 minutes ago and their phones still aren’t on so here we go. We are absolutely gutted. My mother, children and I visited this salon in October prior to my sisters funeral and we all left incredibly happy with our hair. We visited the salon again on Friday and 3/3 of our haircuts were not as discussed. I couldn’t remember the name of our last stylist when I called to schedule and the girl who answered the phone said she had her own room and could get us all so I figured she had to at least have the same skill level as our last stylist who didn’t have her own room. I showed the stylist (Bre Cobbs) the same pictures my son and I had showed our stylist last time and pictures of how it ended up to confirm that it’s definitely something our hair can do. My daughters hair was taken shorter than discussed prior to her sitting in the chair and is an inch shorter on one side (Bre didn’t confirm before cutting first which most stylists do), my hair was taken shorter than discussed and thinned a ton in the front leaving it looking scraggly, and my sons hair was supposed to come to the bottom of his ears (which is longer than he had it done last time and Bre emphatically agreed) and when I went to the car to assess my hair (cry in privacy) and had my mother go watch his cut Bre started to cut his hair ABOVE HIS EARS and my mother stopped her knowing that’s not what was discussed but Bre still took it halfway up his ears. Also, when my mother told her I wouldn’t be returning inside due to how unhappy I was with my cut Bre immediately became defensive and stated that she hadn’t even cut the front of my hair because it was already that short (when I have pictures of my hair down from two days before and it was clearly much longer as it was able to stay behind my shoulders). So Bre blatantly ignored what we wanted when we came in, lacked the skills to perform an even cut, and then lied when she was confronted with the information that she had messed up my hair. I could understand having a slightly different experience than last time but this could not have been more night and day and we haven’t even discussed her tool use etiquette, which was horrible. She ripped out our hair while brushing, burned 2/3 of our heads with the blow dryer, and scratched my forehead with a wire brush numerous times while blow drying. All of which we were willing to take if it meant leaving with the hair we wanted, only it didn’t. My sons confidence is completely crushed (he keeps saying he looks like Manny from ice age and I can’t convince him otherwise) and my daughter and I can’t even pull ours back...
Read moreI had an appointment with Tammy last week, I asked for 3 colors and for every inch of hair to be dyed, I have been getting my hair done the same way for 20 years and I love it, the blondes turned out horrible, except for the roots which is the only part of the blondes she dyed , she left old blonde highlights out and didnt bleach the bottoms. but thr browns and reds were great so I made an appointment for the blondes to get fixed , today I went and instead of actually bleaching the blondes that she never bleached except the roots in the first place she put on toner and now my blonde looks brown and my red is faded , I cried and begged her to just bleach the blonde pieces but she refused because they got bleached a year ago and apparently that's a problem even though it never has been for any other stylist, she offered me $45 and sent me out feeling ugly I am heartbroken, I have 5 adopted kids and I wait all year to do 1 thing for myself and now $250 dollars later I have to spend the next year crying in the mirror
I tried to call the number you left , I would love to speak to you. If you see my hair you will see there is a huge problem, not to mention she should have told me she couldn't do what I was asking for upfront and i would have just gone elsewhere. There were other issues as well. She pushed back my appointment to fix my hair first because she said she it was because I didn't respond to the message she sent me the day before so she made her kids an appointment, even though she said if she didn't hear from me she would hold my appointment. Then literally 3 texts later she said she had just forgotten all about it and I can show you the text messages. The whole experience was bad. After all of this I still don't even want my money back I just want my hair fixed. I will try to call you again, thank you...
Read moreI scheduled an appointment last week for a hair consultation with Bre Cobbs for today, Tuesday, December 21st at 10am. I arrived 2 minutes early, and someone asked me who I was there to see, so i let her know I had a 10am with Bre. She told me she wasn’t there yet and to wait in one of the chairs in the corner. I sat and waited for 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. The stylist right in front of me asked who I was there to see after I’d been waiting for about 30 minutes already. I told her too, and she said “oh okay” and went back to what she was doing. I have worked in, and still work in customer service so I try to be very understanding even when I’ve not worked in the industry before. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that Bre probably wouldn’t have been happy with them if they took care of me since she wasn’t there as that’s money out of her pocket, but by 45 minutes I would honestly rather someone else deal with my hair. Being 45 minutes+ late to an appointment booked in advance shows a level of professionalism that I don’t want going anywhere NEAR my hair. I am incredibly frustrated with what happened today, as even with that said someone could have reached out to her and given me an update or literally anything other than sit there and watch me wait. There were 3 stylists in the time i was there that did not have clients and were just talking with each other. I don’t know how much later she would have been, but I had to leave because again, after 45 minutes it’s clear they don’t care enough to be the ones that touch my hair or get my money, and I have other stuff to do today than sit in a chair on the verge of tears waiting for literally...
