What a great time! We went here for my son's 29th birthday. I surprised him so he had no idea where we were going. As adults it's always a challenge to figure out something to do that's unique, fun and different. A coworker told me about this place and I thought it would be perfect because he really likes to burn candles, he loves nice scents. I had told him I wanted to someday make my own candles and I saw that this place offered classes. So I signed us up for the classes on his birthday. It was a fabulous time, we just had so much fun! Everyone that works there is super helpful and friendly! 1st you pick out the container that you want to make your candle in. We each chose an irredescent type glass container. Next you get to pick out the scents you want to use. I chose Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Gardenia and Georgia Peach. They show you how to figure out the ratio of oil to use of each scent and you get to play with it till it smells the way you like it. Then they show you how to place the wicks and pour the wax in. I came here for a "friend excursion" day... while I have to admit the store is absolutely adorable and I love the vibe and feeling you get once you walk in, I feel the staff needs to be a little more knowledgeable about what they are selling. I purchased a self made candle as well as a bracelet, a ring, and a "save the bees" earring set. The cashier insisted that their jewelry wouldn't tarnish as "the material they us is top of the line" and according to him "they are known for the jewelry not turning your fingers green and lasting a long time".. well I wore the ring 2 weeks before my finger turned green and the save the bees earnings made my ears break out and become overly itchy. I think the jewelry products are a little overpriced for them to have such a short wear time. ...and while the candle making was enjoyable, they said it would take about 1 hour to 1.5 hrs to be able to pick my candle up and it took slightly over 2 hours.

Nothing against the shop, overall I think it was great, but employees need to know what they are selling and saying before giving false...

I had the most wonderful experience at North End Market! The variety of scents available is incredible, with everything from relaxing to cozy. Lynn & Fai were friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to guide me through the process of choosing my perfect fragrance.

What really stood out was the hands-on candle-making experience. The process was fun, creative, and surprisingly relaxing. I loved being able to customize my candle’s scent, color, and design. The shop is stocked with high-quality materials, and I could tell they care about creating products that are not only beautiful but also long-lasting.
