I have been a loyal customer of a particular massage spa for almost 3 years now, but my most recent visit left me extremely disheartened. I had always appreciated the service and have consistently left a good tip on every visit. However, today took an unexpected turn when I was asked by the manager to leave a 30% tip because the massage therapists supposedly work exceptionally hard. This left me in complete shock!

As someone who values fairness and ethics, I found this request to be wholly unethical. Tips should always be given based on the quality of service and personal discretion. To be confronted and pressured for an additional tip feels out of line and manipulative. It is truly disheartening when a place that I once trusted with my well-being demonstrates such disregard for their customers.

Regrettably, this experience has led me to CUT ties with this massage spa. As a customer, I believe it is important to support businesses that prioritize fairness and maintain ethical practices. I hope that by sharing my experience, others can be aware of this incident and make informed decisions about their own visits to the spa.

My boyfriend and I did a 90 minute couples massage this past weekend. We were both wondering if 90 minutes may be too much for us as we don't sit still very often. 90 minutes flew by! We left with mobility we've been missing for sometime. My neck was completely locked up when we got there. I couldn't even turn to check my blind spot when I was driving because it was so bad. I now have full range of motion and I'm not constantly listening to him complain about his sciatic bothering him anymore either. We had a big to-do list afterwards but we were both so relaxed our to-do list turned into relaxing in bed most of the day. It's an amazing feeling to no longer be in pain. I HIGHLY recommend hot stone massage. The staff are beyond amazing. Very professional, polite, clean etc. The prices are amazingly low. I don't spend money on myself so the price had to be great to convince me to do something for me. Both massage therapists deserved much more than 20% tip for all their hard work. They know what they're doing. This spa is very clean so if COVID is a concern for you, you are in good hands here. We will most definitely be back. Stay away from here if you’re a female. At a minimum make sure you do not get a male masseuse. This was the most uncomfortable massage I’ve ever received and I’m disappointed I had to pay for this traumatic experience. I am a female and had a male masseuse. He was very unprofessional compared to the many massages I’ve had. He moved the sheet in ways that left me very exposed, it was inappropriate and I was very uncomfortable. I was in such shock after the experience that I just paid and left as fast as I could. However since leaving I can’t stop thinking about just how unprofessional the service I received was. I saw one more review from another female that had a similar experience. Business replied to the review and disregarded the customers awful experience, so I’m expecting a similar response from the business downplaying the issue brought to light and not taking appropriate actions to make sure their female customers are safe from their male employees. Women be warned. Also got bullied by the desk lady for my lack of tip….I’m upset I even had to pay for this traumatic service wish I could get a refund….
