I was a long term fan of Salvatore and I bought lots of things from them over the years ranging from shoes to belts to even bracelets and believe me the quality went downhill a lot. Just get from Gucci next door, maybe even cheaper and will last a lot longer or if you have more money, get from LV even better. The shoes attached in the photo is worth 1000 dollars and I only wore it twice. First time same issue happened, they repaired it. Second time I wore it, no rain, no harsh conditions and it started losing color again as you can see the orange spot in front. I spoke with them. They only offered a repair again but how can such expensive shoe keep losing color? It isn't convenient to send for repair that takes weeks every time you wear it, especially if it is so expensive. They don't care. They wont refund my money or give me a new pair. I emailed the main company, they told me me the same thing.
Trust me, save your money and shop elsewhere. I read a lot about salvatore recently and everyone agrees that they used to be great but not anymore. If you have money that you don't care about, sure go ahead buy from them and good luck with...
Read moreI placed an order for a custom belt back in February. Long story short, when it finally came in 3 months later it was the wrong size. Adriana assured me they could get it fixed and have a new one sent. I told her to just cancel and refund. I was very frustrated and annoyed as I have purchased numerous things from SF, especially the Short Hills location. About 3 weeks later a small little package came to my house as a "sorry for the mix-up we are still here" I guess. I was understanding as these products are made in Italy and things take time etc. after a few more weeks and my kind of putting the whole thing aside, I get a box at my house that's huge. That's an FS thing - big huge boxes. I opened it up and there was my custom-ordered belt in the correct size. I was very happy. Thank Adriana for making that happen and not just processing the refund. I hope to see you soon in the store. Thank you, SF Short...
Read moreJust spoke to a Sierra and I explained the zipper hook broke on my $2400 Viva Vera bow tote. It’s not even a year old. The store is over an hour from my home. I explained I am not going to waste my time to travel there to get the run around. What is the protocol for a repair or replacement? Can I send photos? Can she authorize a repair? They have a repair shop she explained. It’s in Morristown and it takes 4 weeks to repair. All I wanted was for her to authorize a repair so I don’t make two long trips, and I am on travel for two weeks. She says to call back the next day at noon after I explained I am on my way to the airport and will be in another time zone tomorrow. Why pick up the phone if you are going to tell me you are on the phone with a customer? What am I? I agree with everyone else save your money. Ferragamo lost a customer. I should’ve got the YSL bag. They have a lambskin tote also. ...
