Overall a very cute local restaurant with extremely friendly service and decent food.
Service is great. The staff are the nicest people. They are attentive and helpful people. Really not much more I can ask for.
The restaurant is nice enough. It appears somewhat old but this is probably a style choice. It's a bit dark inside and accents are very wooden. It is not very large inside. There are maybe 12 tables, and most seat 2 or 3 people. The bar is on a raised platform with a small number of seats. The theming is entirely based on Erie boxing, which is about as unique as you can get. No one else is doing this kind of restaurant here. It attracts a friendly crowd as well.
Food was pretty good. The meat ravioli I had was 14.95 dollars. Portion sizes are large. Food came within 15 minutes of ordering, which feels appropriate if not fast. The ravioli was cooked acceptably. The meatball was a bit firm but fine.
Many of the options are much cheaper with sub and sandwich options under 10$. The value over all is pretty decent given rising prices at most restaurants.
I would recommend this place if you want a cute, casual local place with...
Read moreNice place. A lot of Erie and boxing memorabilia lines the walls. We had very good food and the portions were generous. The menu contains a lot of selections - it hasn't been paired down to just a few items the way so many restaurants are doing now. According to my kids, the kid's pizza and cheeseburger were great and just the right size. The turkey and cheese sub was on a really fabulous bun - toasted and warm and the tomato and lettuce were cold which is the way you would want it. The strips of chicken on the salad were tender and tasty. The service was really nice, attentive and friendly, and even though we arrived before they opened at 3, they invited us to come in anyway. All in all a nice lunch experience. I hadn't been there in a number of years but I'm sure...
Read moreA group of friends and I just started going here on Saturdays for karaoke. It is a quaint place with unique touches. There are photos of local talent and the bar itself is modeled to look like a boxing ring. Since we usually go after dinner, I haven't tried a lot of menu items, yet. However, the homemade pepperoni balls I tried last Saturday are fabulous! They have many other homemade items on the menu. I am anxious to try. You can choose from a variety of dinner options as well as bar type snack food.
Thest part of this place is that you enter a stranger and leave as "la familia". It is family owned and run. Everyone there embraced this feeling. It is a great place for a relaxing night out or a family dinner. Definitely a well kept Erie secret...
