After a lot of searching and meeting with other swim spa companies, we landed at Spa Depot. Melissa was extremely knowledgeable and amazing to work with, we trusted her immediately and once we got our spa everything she had said was absolutely true. We purchased the R500 sport unit and it was the best decision we ever made. We have turned our back yard into an oasis adding pavers, a fire pit and a changing room. The owner Scott, is amazing, he personally came to our house to install the padded flooring before we filled it. He answered all our questions and spent the afternoon with us teaching us every aspect. This was a big investment and we had never owned even a hot tub, but Scott has made us feel very comfortable and we trust him in everyway. It is good to know that customer service is not dead and Scott is a gem and has proved that. He truly cares and wants you to enjoy your purchase, I have sent him photos of our back yard and shared our love of the pool with him. He has shared in our excitement. And now to the pool itself, the swim jets are amazing, I am 5'11 and weighed 224 Since July I have lost 37 pounds, now weigh 191 and have toned up significantly swimming and lifting water weights each morning, it is a no impact workout that is so good on my knees and back. At night we relax in the hot tub end where jets help with back, leg and feet pain. My wife and I keep saying, "how did we ever get by with out this?" Our granddaughter that's 4 years old loves to come to grandma's and grandpas to float what she calls, "the big river" which to anyone else are the jets for swimming current. She loves to go a long the sides and launch herself in the current that whisks her to the end of the pool she had floated down hundreds of times over the summer. If you have been thinking of getting a swim spa, I highly suggest you do. And I would also highly suggest Swim Depot, between Melissa and Scott you are in good hands and will be taken care of. Buying a swim spa has been about as fun as buying a used car... Sleazy. They aren't cheap and it's a little intimidating. I decided to not buy online because it is scary and I wanted local support. I asked people and had a few recommendations but just didn't like the vibe of who I was talking to and they didn't seem to understand how tiny my yard is (downtown sugarhouse) or my needs (disabled child who would benefit therapeutically). I took a chance and walked in. Firstly, women work here. I'm sure men do too but I immediately didn't feel like I was being talked down to or the hard sell. Listened to. Not pushy just helpful. I ordered it and am waiting. I will come back and update once it gets here but so far I have been happy and feel like they helped me to choose what will work for me. I like them and they feel like they are good people not creeps like other places. Update... Spa delivered, everything super smooth. Everyone is great to deal with. I need to get my electrical stuff set up then someone will come help me learn how to use it. I'm excited and I cannot recommend spa depot enough.. Update 2... Spa is up and running!!! Don't buy a spa online for so many reasons. Buy local. Support your local community but also they will support you. This whole experience has been great. A swim spa isn't cheap but these guys won't rip you off they will help you the whole time and they are amazing. If you are on the fence about a swim spa get one. Wow, absolutely the best purchasing experience ever! I met with Marisa a couple of months ago who took the time to show me various options and colors. She sold me on the amazing HotSpring with a captain's chair, and Spa Depot was even able to give me a trade in on our old spa.

Just a couple of weeks later they were ready to deliver, just in time for the holiday weekend (they made it!). An incredible crew came out during a snowstorm and hauled away the old spa, delivered and hooked up the new one, they even helped with electrical requirements, filled and tested the spa and gave me a box of stuff to go with it.

We'd ordered the wrong type of lid and they came right back out ASAP and put the right cover and lifter on.

Marisa even came out personally to show me how to operate it, test it and everything. We love it!

Alex in Park City was also very helpful with scheduling the install of the cover.
