TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I purchase Enfamil toddler milk in bulk! (Meaning I buy about 10-20 bottles (32 oz) every two weeks. I started to go to this target because the target in North brunswick is always out, please note N.B has fantastic customer service. As I am in line waiting to purchase the milk for my very active toddler. I notice Carlos the cashier signals for his supervisor to come over. The supervisor a natural blond woman in her early 30s comes over. Carlos then asks her if there is a promotion on the milk. At this point I am very confused. (Please note because I buy so much milk Enfamil sends me rebates, which I am holding in my hand.) As the young supervisor is looking through the periodical, I tell her there is not a promotion and I just buy a large quantity because my son love the milk and it is good for him. The woman in front of me laughs and we exchange a few jokes about children. The supervisor gives me an unpleasant look and continues to look through the periodical. She then looks at me as asks me in a very curt tone "are those WIC coupons?" I was embarrassed, appalled and in complete disbelief. Why would she assume or ask me if I was in WIC, WHY? I told her no these are coupons from Enfamil, she then in the same dry and curt tone, tells me to give her the coupons. I hand them to her and she turns to Carlos and says long as there's no promotion she is fine and walks away. She never apologized, nor addressed her accusation or even tried to discuss her assumption or rudeness. I have been a Middlesex county resident my entire life and I have never been so humiliated. The lady in back of me shook her head and even agreed the supervisor and Carlos were wrong for their harsh and rude assumption. Please never shop here if you will need assistance from the blond...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate 9/12/23: There are vendors that I use and there is always some sort of problem with every order, such as stock not being up to date, employees not putting any effort in to substituting or just completely missing items. I have to credit to Target, they stepped up and excelled during the pandemic and have continued to impress me on a regular basis. I never have to worry about my pick up orders and the staff is consistent and genuinely happy to help. Most recently there was a product I needed but only available for shipping, problem was cost of product was $6 and online delivery orders have minimum otherwise pay an extremely high delivery charge. I wasn't complaining or expecting anything but customer service went above and beyond, placed the order for me through their system and to be delivered at no cost. It's the little things like this that make such a big difference when choosing where to shop.
The store, employees and website are all on point and really stepping up during this Covid 19 pandemic. My pick up orders are ready within a matter of a couple of hours and I haven't had one issue or problem with any of my orders like some other retailers. So much infact, that after shopping Walmart for such a long time and the way they were handling this was so terrible. I think customers are really relying on staff that our orders are treated like any other day and Walmart failed myself not just once but several times and I can't afford to have mistakes at a time like this. Target has definitely stepped up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreClean store and nice staff. So why the one star? Well my first and now last experience there was for the launch of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. I went directly to the Electronics department upon opening and NO associates or managers around the area to help customers. Finally I got the attention of an associate working in an adjoining department and she called, I guess, a surpervisor for the area who wasn't able to help, but called management because she kew her associates were going to be late? After half an hour of waiting a manger shows up (yes took that long during OPENING HOUR) and calls a different supervisor to help us (another customer came in for the same reason) from another area who of course knew nothing about the game. After waiting another 15 minutes for him to look in the back room I walked around surveying the department only to find TWO electronics associates standing around behind the counter... the other supervisor comes back saying their system shows 15 in stock but does not know where they are. Which then prompts one of the associates behind the counter to say they found one behind the counter... Kind of convenient don't you think a high demand new release shows 15 in stock, but the associates standing around somehow knew there was only one behind the counter? I let them sell it to the other customer and walk to customer service which could not get a hold of a manager that I could...
