Management does not have control over their employees and the inventory in the building. One time I was on the self check out line and there was no employee present to make sure the line was operating in a normal and safe matter. Said employee was too busy talking to another employee about non-work matters and was not paying attention to the self checkout line. People on the self checkout line started to cut in line and the employee was not present to enforce order on the line. Customers act disorderly in the building and security does nothing to stop the disorderly conduct.
The inventory control in the building is extremely horrible. Items are scattered all around the building and are barely placed where they are suppose to belong. The virtual/physical inventory is always off. The virtual inventory on the Target App rarely matches the physical inventory in the store. No one in the store makes the inventory look neat on the shelves. Target looks more like a flea market than a professional retail chain store. Save your time and venture to another brick and mortar retail store. They don’t care about the state of the store, so why should you spend your money...

The outside is disgusting. Garbage left in the parking lot. Store looks like a a tornado hit. Shelves are a mess and no employees anywhere to organize. I was online looking for a specific item. The stores website said there was 3 in stock. I looked on the shelves and nothing. I asked customer service and was told they were being held in the backup for pickup. BUT then told by a manger the item was actually in on a palette the would be put out Tuesday. So which is it?????? Are they being held in the backup for people or on a palette? Also if they are in fact purchased why does the side say 3 are available??? Or is this Target doing their normal practice… where they hold items in the back so every day paying customers can’t access because they’re holding items for themselves or reserved for friends/family???? And if it’s none of these scenarios why is their inventory system so off with stock accuracy???

Read moreI grew up in Milltown and every time I visit my parents, I stop at Target to pick up groceries and toiletries. This store has become an absolute mess & nightmare. Aisles are blocked by inventory carts filled with boxes, expired products are on the shelves, many items are usually out of stock, they changed self checkout to make it 10 items or less, and it’s just a mess. Not to mention, it’s become a teen hangout for some reason. Their parents drop them off in groups the way I used to get dropped at the mall 25 years ago. It just adds to the chaos of the place. They need to get their act together & be more like the North Brunswick & Menlo...
