I appreciate this place because my original stylist wasn't available and they were open 24 hours. They were able to get me in immediately. When I got there they had to call a stylist in which took 30 minutes for them to get there. I had brought my own hair and they refused to use it saying that it was too slippery and I had to use theirs. They did not have the Ombre style so they did a highlight which was okay. They are slower than the stylists I'm used to dealing with. Normally the braiders I deal with for medium/small sized knotless braids that are shoulder to bra length take 4 hours. They take 6hrs here. I was not told that originally and of course I ended up being late for work. My braids turned out really pretty. They do grab every little bit of your hair so make sure you let them know if you want your edges or not. Also I had my ends curled and they curled them a little differently instead of rollers. They curl the hair with string . The way they cut the ends of the braids are very blunt so it looks a little funny. But they are very skillful braiders. I would definitely use them again as a backup for my regular braider. Also, their prices are a little higher than what I was used to paying. But only by $20. that's still doable. My style was a shoulder length knotless medium too small braides for $220. As far as the shop it's really small with three chairs so make sure you make your appointments early.

The bathroom was not very clean and the floors were very slippery throughout the shop. I had on Nike ones and I literally felt like I was ice skating. So I'm assuming that whatever product they use on the hair gets on the floor and causes it to be very slippery.

I recently had my first experience at your salon, and while I was a bit skeptical at first, I ended up really enjoying it! I wanted to share some thoughts that could enhance the experience even further.

First, I had a little trouble locating the building. Adding a clear sign or marker would definitely help customers find the site more easily.

Additionally, the space is quite cozy, which adds to the charm, but it can feel a bit cramped during busy times. Just a little extra room would make a big difference!

I also noticed that the area in front of the wash bowl could use some rearranging. Ensuring that nothing blocks the wash bowl would create a more comfortable experience for customers, especially during hair washes.

On a positive note, the ladies at the salon were absolutely amazing! They were respectful, thoughtful, and truly accommodating. I really appreciated the excellent service I received, and I’m looking forward to returning. I have a feeling I’ll be a familiar face around there!

I initially requested stitch braids, but the braiders were not able to perform that technique so I resulted in feed-in braids with knots at the ends. While I didn’t get the style I originally wanted, I absolutely love the hairstyle I have now!
