In my book, a good liquor store has three key ingredients. Sell a myraid of alcohol/mixers/novelties/etc at bargain prices. Enough variety of travel sized mini bottles that in the event I wanted to fill a checked bag, it would surely alert the TSA. And finally, the locals. Not sure who's a local? Then stop by the store between 730pm and 8pm most evenings. The parking lot becomes a hub of activity for those who want to grab that last item. Lastly, I really enjoy the vibe of the place. As I walked into this tiny store for the first time, I was totally confused about what I was really looking to find. I had a list of ingredients for a drink by three different authors. So, my confusion must have been deafening because the cashier looked at me and asked if he could help me.
