Really disappointed, I was so excited to try the store as my friend gave me a very nice gift card. Went to the store and was not greeted right away like other places. Perhaps I shouldn't compare, but I expected a little more. The girl was nice but not friendly, I ordered a latte and asked for almond milk as cow milk does not always agree with me and I dont care for the taste of out milk, I was extremely disappointed as I drive all over for work and was looking forward to spending some of my gift card money here. Guess I will have to order online as I can not use my gift card for what it was intended, that also frustrates me as I would prefer not to give them any business. To add to my experience, I tried using my gift card online and he keeps telling me the card number is invalid, I checked the balance just in case and it's valid. We found Blind Dog on Google maps when we were exploring the area on a weekend trip to South Lake. It was Saturday afternoon and it was time for an afternoon pick-me-up. Blind Dog is open until 5pm on Saturday! So we stopped in. It was charming from the moment we entered! The sweet barista welcomed us warmly and explained the different blends and roasts.

We ordered grilled cheese and a muffin along with 2 drip coffees. We loved the Nevada Black but it wasn't really hot anymore coming from the thermos. The barista immediately offered to brew a fresh pot and it was delish! We relaxed and enjoyed the ambiance for over an hour. It was such a positive experience and I enjoyed the coffee so much that I started a regular coffee subscription and now I get Blind Dog delivered directly to my door! If I’m honest a half star would be generous for this place. The atmosphere is the only redeeming part, it’s cute inside. I went in twice, the first time was bad, but i went in again because my friends wanted to. The coffee was horrid, it tasted like bitter water, i got a vanilla latte, only because the girl there didn't understand what a white mocha was. I got a coffee cake muffin as well, it was a skillful mix of hard and spongey, reminiscent of a kitchen sponge, and had no flavor at all. To top it off, you have no idea when your coffee is ready because they don't say anything, they just leave it on the counter, I had to ask each time if the order was mine because there was no indication of who's or what it was.
