A Rare Bird is my favorite antique shop in the 50th and Xerxes area of Minneapolis. Every time I'm in the shop, something catches my eye. Whether it's a French-inspired piece of furniture or a Mid-Century must-have, this is the place to find it. Another aspect of the store that I like is that it looks fresh and new every time I pop in. My favorite shop in the cities!! There is always such an exquisite collection of beautifully curated treasures, and I rarely leave empty handed. The shop is so welcoming and Kelly the owner will go out of her way to help you find what you’re looking for, or give you more info about the items. I also highly recommend the shop’s instagram!! Wonderful selection! I found dishes that I have been searching for for many years. I find something I want to buy whenever I am in this shop! The owner is extremely courteous and helpful; she recently helped me complete a purchase very quickly with no notice - include wrapping & packing up 12 fragile items and she kindly accommodated my technology incompetence with payment.
